As a medical marijuana patient going through my first renewal, I must impress that Dr. Corey Jaquez is the finest medical marijuana doctor in Connecticut! I suffered terribly from PTSD, as well as, chronic back pain. I first heard about medical cannabis program from a friend and I was resistant to the idea initially. I searched endlessly for a doctor who evaluates and certifies cannabis patients who also had excellent reviews. And low and behold, Dr Jaquez was it! His comprehensive evaluation, included plenty of time for all my questions and hang-ups about avoiding opioid dependence. He was thorough in describing the entire registration process and qualifying conditions for the medical cannabis program in CT- because it varies state to state! Luckily, I qualified for medical marijuana because of two qualifying diagnoses...PTSD and damage to nervous tissue from a failed back surgery. I was approved for the MMP on the spot. He then gave me paperwork to register online and an estimated 3-4 weeks to obtain my CT medical marijuana card. This doc has a great relationship with local dispensaries too! Mine even helped me with the online registration process. Net net, a fine physician, compassionate person, and in my humble opinion, the best medical marijuana doctor in the state
