Athabasca is an indica dominant hybrid (80% indica/20% sativa) strain created as a potent cross between the insanely popular Harlequin X Jack the Ripper strains. This dank bud is a powerful descendant of the much-loved Pennywise strain and boasts an incredible 1:1 THC to CBD ratio that ranges from 6-8% on average. Users describe the Athabasca high as being intensely psychoactive with extremely high levels of pain relief. Upon the onset, you'll feel intensely uplifted and creative with psychoactive tendencies and some feelings of dizziness. This is accompanied by a mellow sense of relaxation that helps to relax your body while your mind explores. This stuff is very medicinal. If you are looking for couchlock...not here. I don't have any anxiety from it at all, great for sleep too. Very good strain for patients of any kind. Not really for getting your kicks, more for real medicinal users who want to feed the ECS. I'm glad I stumbled on to this one.
