Amherst Sour Diesel is a sativa dominant hybrid (70% sativa/30% indica) strain with relatively unknown genetics created by breeders at the infamous Humboldt Seeds Organization. Its breeders have kept the precise genetics a secret, although it's well accepted that it is a cross between the insanely popular Sour Diesel X an unknown strain. This dank bud boasts an intense THC level ranging from 20-26% on average and a myriad of both indica and sativa effects. Users describe the Amherst Sour Diesel high as an immediate onset of a calming, energized, and euphoric cerebral head high with a slight buzz in the back of your head. These effects will leave you feeling social and upbeat, although your thoughts may be a bit jumbled. The insane head high is accompanied by a light functional body high with a warming sensation throughout and a feeling of relief. I picked up an eighth of this thang from the local tourist trap dispensary. It’s testing at 16% THC but I don’t really care about that. I do care that it cost me $60 after the local government taxed thee fuck out of it; corporations and governments are greedy but lemme set aside my political/anti-capitalist rant and get back to the flower. This is a frosted sea green flower with dark purples and orange hairs crawling about. I’m catching hella fruity and gassy notes; didn’t really notice the taste after running a bowl through my vaporizer. But, yeah man, I got zooted: feelings of gentle upliftedness or a manageable euphoria settled over me. I got the hi def visuals that usually accompany being sweetly stoned. After awhile, I settled in for some of the best goddamn sleep I’ve had in a very long time. This total experience is the dragon I’m chasing. So, what do you do when the stone is good but the dealer’s a prick?

This strain packs a punch, for sure!! During the day I roll 1/2 gram joints and they leave me happy and energetic at first, then about 30 minutes in I begin to feel calm and focused. When I use at night, I roll 1 gram and I get couch lock, which helps my insomnia. I fall asleep within minutes of my head hitting the pillow and for keeps me asleep through the night. Definitely a great strain.

Really good strain!!! First time I tried it I loved it. It had me feeling happy and energetic, ready to go to work lol. The buds we're super shiny with crystals all over and also bright purple leafs also. Beautiful looking flower and great taste also.

Without a doubt one of my favorite strains. The smell and taste are what a good bud should be like imo. A couple good tokes in the am before work and i can finally say ive found a strain that legit doesnt make me tired. Milkin this 1/8th as long as i can.

This strain is perfect for the recreational user that wants the combo of euphoria and social happiness but also wants a deeper head buzz. I like it because lithe buzz is at first nice and energetic but levels off to a nice calming feeling as the high wears off. I prefer a more sativa blend and this seems to be a really good balance.
