Above average strain .. Tastes decent and has a delightful sweet smell. The high is ok.. But what sells it is the way it looks.. Near perfect looking nuggs; light green with orange hairs and frosty goodness.. If grown in the right temp, the blue and purple hues start to come through. Taste is nothing special. Blue sweet piney meh. Not offensive but fairly sour / acrid. But effect is so intense for me personally that I hate it. It doesn't feel like what other weed is meant to be. It's definitely psychedelic for me, as well as gave me hare-brained ideas which frightened me to confront. It also profoundly affects the qualities and aspects of vision, strangely. The fact that I had experimented with an entire joint through a bong with this stuff may have been a factor. And I really don't understand- I love haze crosses, and I love blueberry. How could this cross be bad for me? Medicine's like that.
Good flavor, it's a little sweet... Effects are relaxing, very mild and not too strong overall.

Blue Dream is pretty balanced and a good pain reliever. For how balanced it is, it is the most reliably body warming strain I've ever used. Most Cannabis strains with a significant indica side are cooling, but there's just enough of the right sativa side to this strain to be quite pain relieving and comforting in the colder months. Of course, it is cerebral and can cloud up your head, but it is nearly equally soothing to the body.
Just grabbed an eighth this morning of Blue Dream. It always makes me happy. Its super tasty. It has an awesome uplifting effect accompanied with a bliss like feel. It has a very distinct look and smell. I can smoke this anytime of day and it gets the job done. Good to have a strain like this in your rotation. Might just be I'm a sucker for anything with Haze but this stuff is just so darn tasty.
Had a dry almost odorless bootleg zip a few years and that BLUE DREAM blew my mind! Can't wait to get some high quality organic Blue Dream cannibus because it's easily one of my favorite strains of all-time!

what a great strain, one of the best in the world
The original Blue Dream was created using a DJ Shorts Blueberry female and a Super Silver Haze male producing what quickly became one of my top 5 strains I've had the opportunity to smoke/Cultivate. The robust aroma of DJ Shorts Blueberry combined with the clearly recognizable pungent aroma all Haze strains share tells you the Blue Dream taste is going to be nothing short of epic! Tho its aroma and taste are that of no other, its effects were immediately noticeable causing heightened focus from its Sativa dominate genetics, followed closely by the calming relaxation only an Indica gene can produce makes in my opinion makes a perfect candidate for waking and baking or a mid morning session giving a subtle yet highly noticeable jolt of energy and ambition. Blue Dream sits at number 3 on my list of strains I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to cultivate (outdoor harvest mid Oct.) Sharing such resilient characteristics with the likes of Jack Herer, Blue Dream was one of the easiest to maintain with it's very low maintenance. The end result was nothing short of amazing with a common yield of 1.5 pounds of deliciousness per 5 to 7 ft tall plant. What took the cake was the mouth watering Sweet and skunky aroma that lingered throughout my entire house for almost 2 months during the harvest process.. I would highly recommend Blue Dream to any aspiring farmer as a first time crop!
