This was the first "KGB" I tried back in early 90s. After smoking Mexican brown and lower quality green for about a year, a very good friend of a friend came down from Eureka in Humboldt Co., the year The Chronic and Cypress Hill dropped. After a few big hits from a pipe, I was in pure cerebral, euphoric heaven with a body high to match. I remember we jammed (I played bass) for hours, then ate, and just hung out, taking few more hits. For hours and hours into early morn. Today's NL (in a legal state) is good, but nowhere close to the old school Chronic. Humboldt grown...toking, reminiscing...still a favorite in all it's more modern forms. ✌🏻

I've tried many and this is one of the best! Totally helps with calming down, appetite, sleeping, constant thinking, pain and depression. I definitely would recommend
For me, this strain seems to be a creeper. I haven’t seen anyone else mention this, though, there’s no question as time shifts I’m becoming more and more drawn into a deeper sense of relaxation. I’m usually strictly a sativa guy, except for late at night, though today I’ve been highly stressed and wanted to give this a whirl. At first I didn’t notice much, after 15 minutes, I am now in a total state of happy relaxation. I’m not ready to take a nap quite yet, but all the shat that was bothering me 20 minutes ago is gone. Maybe I’ll hit the hammock and check out cloud formations. Yeah, that’s what I’m up for. 😎🌱💨
Reminds me of the 90's and I'm an og. This was where I started smoking kind bud after years of shwaggy commercial bud. First grow was nl5 and silver haze and they were fire. The nl5 bud structure is solid and covered with orange hairs. Very recognizable bud. Great high and one of my all time favs.
Very good, classic strain! The effects were happy, calm, relaxing, hungry and some euphoria.
This strain fills my mind with creative thoughts. It is best taken at night as it relaxes the body and you can ease into sleep a bit easier. I have insomnia so it has helped. Strong smell though.
In my top 10 favorite. If you have the chance to get some you definitely need to. It's a special one of a kind and a must have if you can find it.
I have epilepsy, seizures almost every week. Once I started smoking this strain -northern lights- I’ve only been having 1 a month at that. And I’ve actually been able to go to sleep instead of staying away for over 60 hours at a time.
This by far one of my favorite strains taste, smell, quality of the high have always treated me right
Easily in the Top 5 all-time best strain ever created, it's an absolute classic. Northern Lights is also my personal favorite, the taste is amazing and it also makes me feel nostalgic. It was probably the first "Kind Bud" I was able to consistently get back in the late 90's when I was in college.
