Hybrid Strain Hybrid 50% Sativa /50% Indica

THC: 18% - 26%, CBD: 4%

Black Betty is a sativa dominant strain with an amazing 26% THC and 3.94% CBD content. The strain is a cross between AK-47 and East Coast Sour Diesel. The buds look lighter than you would expect them to be, but are covered by crystals that glisten and glaze unlike any other strain you might have medicated with before. As for the smell and taste, it is not entirely sweet. Black Betty is strong and rich in flavor and burns longer than most strains. What is really interesting is that the strain does not lose its flavor quickly and tends to leave an amazing aftertaste once you have smoked enough. The strain is not recommended for beginners, the high is out of this world. It manages to offer a good body and cerebral buzz that will make you come back for seconds. Even if you have been smoking for years, Black Betty will hit you like a thunderbolt when you least expect it. It is one of the best strains to treat PTSD with. Moreover, it is just as effective at treating depression, stress and anxiety as well.

Black Betty, by Hilltop Growers in WA, is an amazing high. The bud is dark purple, almost black, wispy and airy. I was concerned that it was maybe a bit too dry, but after smoking a couple bowls, that doesn't seem to be the case. The smell is pungent, sweet, and flowery; while the taste is full of sweet berries. The smoke goes down smooth, and the high hits hard and fast. Be prepared to do a whole lot of thinking, giggling, and not a whole lot else. Little update to this review - after grinding up my second big nug of this, the taste ran heavily to lapsang tea.

your first few times it will set you back in your chair and your there for the ride, big plant outdoors, very fragrant plant. a definite must try, great for butter and oils..

This review is spot on - it hits you out of nowhere! First time I used this lady I didn’t feel anything so I had more - big mistake. I got hit so hard I passed out on the couch!

I LOVED this strain. Just spent the last 20 minutes tracking it down from the ONE and only time I got it a year ago! Where can I get it in Portland Metro? Totally amazing for anxiety & PTSD!
