Orange Sunset Marijuana Strain

Hybrid Strain Hybrid 50% Sativa /50% Indica

THC: 27% - 30%

Orange Sunset is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through a delicious cross of the classic OZ Kush X Orange Banana strains. The perfect bud for kicking back and enjoying the views on a lazy afternoon, Orange Sunset is both lifting and relaxing. The high has a definite warming effect, washing over your body in soothing waves and leaving it feeling totally calm, kicked back and at ease. A light mental energy accompanies this physical state, lifting your spirits and filling you with a happy sense of calm and ease as well as a touch of creativity that will lend itself well to any conversation at hand. Combined with its super high 27-30% THC level, these effects give Orange Sunset an edge in treating chronic stress or anxiety, mood swings or depression and chronic pain. This bud has a classic sweet creamy citrus flavor with a touch of tangy sour orange candy upon exhale. The aroma is much like a fresh citrus grove, with sharp oranges and vibrant tangerines accented by fresh earth throughout. Orange Sunset buds have thick heart-shaped minty green nugs with light orange hairs and a coating of frosty tiny white crystal trichomes.

Orange Sunset is an excellent strain. The smell of the flower in the package is a lovely blend of citrus and herbal. There’s even an intriguing hint of tangy pungency. The high is quite mellow after 3 good tokes, neither making me want to lie down and ponder the world, nor prompting me into a frenzy of activity. I guess that’s what a good hybrid is supposed to do. Well, Orange Sunset is an excellent example of a true hybrid. Problem for me is that I like sativas in the later afternoon, and indicas after 9 p.m., so I have not tried many specifically hybrid strains. However, this is the nicest and mellowest of the various hybrids I have tried. In my head, I am definitely stoned, but I am still able to compose this review—not something I could easily do after inhaling most of the kush-y and purple indicas I like at night. (Forgot to mention that it is 11 p.m. as I write.) Yet, sitting in my chair, I also feel that pleasant warmth throughout my body of the sort that I usually get after my regular nighttime smoke. So, this is a clever strain with multiple beneficial qualities. However, I probably won’t smoke it after midnight, as I expect that it is not particularly sleep-inducing. Overall, a definite A, deserved as much for the wonderful aroma of the flower as for the comfortably balanced high.

Probably the the top three strains ive smoked this year2020, 1) gary payton 2)orange sunset 3)cereal milk
