Powder Keg is a super rare slightly sativa dominant hybrid strain created through an unknown combination of parents. Very little is known about this strain other than its dusty appearance and creeping explosive effects. Powder Keg buds have small grape-shaped dusty green nugs that are dotted with light amber hairs and coated in crystal trichomes. The effects of Powder Keg are definitely creeping in nature, sneaking up on you and exploding behind your eyes and in your forehead when you least expect it. You’ll be hit with a slight cerebral stoniness that won’t leave you sleepy or lethargic, but rather will ease away any mental aches or pains and leave you feeling foggy and totally happy. As these effects expand, they’ll being to spread through your limbs, leaving you with a light touch of sedation that won’t leave you dozing. Thanks to these effects and its moderate 14-15% average THC level, Powder Keg is often chosen to treat conditions such as chronic pain, migraines or headaches, nausea, and chronic stress. The flavor and smell of this bud is unknown, although it is said to be spicy and herbal, almost like a haze.

Creeping yes...but not really explosive 😞. Northern Lights and Haze smell and taste comes through. Tasty. Just expected more with that name and lineage. Crisp buzz, a get busy buzz. But isn't really long lasting...one hour ish. Easy down, and not wiped out. All head, no body effects for me.

I felt alert, energetic and calming at the same time. Got a lot of stuff done. And felt happy doing it. I wasn’t feeling stressed out or anxious. Will get again.
