Purple Thai is a sativa dominant hybrid (80% sativa/20% indica) strain created as a cross of the deliciously potent Oaxacan Gold X Chocolate Thai strains. Much like its parents, Purple Thai has an insanely mouthwatering aroma of earthy nutty berry with a surprisingly powerful chocolate coffee bouquet that's released when the nugs are broken apart. The flavor is very nutty and chocolaty with an overtone of coffee and has been said to taste like drinking a hazelnut latte with chocolate syrup. A delicate spicy berry flavor can be detected if this bud is vaped rather than smoked. The Purple Thai high is just as delicious, with potent fast-hitting effects powered by an average THC level that typically falls between 20-23% and that can be too much for inexperience users. The high hits almost immediately after toking, with a dizzying cerebral rush that launches your head straight into the clouds on a psychedelic journey with insanely energizing jolts of motivation and unfocused thoughts. Can someone please explain to me how this is an 80/20 sativa dom hybrid? It's parents are both 1000% PURE SATIVAS and that's hard to find nowadays. So how on earth do 2 pure sativas bred a strain that has 20% indica?! Other than my question for the ages I must say that this is by far 1 of the best sativa strains I've ever tried, 2nd to only 1 sativa that's now extinct which is truly sad because its like Green Crack on meth. It was called Grimm Dawg but shoulda been called Green Meth lol. Im bipolar type 1 (which explains my manic long ass review)& when I'm in my depressed phase i reach for reasons to stay alive. I smoked this and it made me completely forget about suicide. So that's a plus. Itll make you horny AF, I smoked this fir the 1st time with this lil hottie & after we took 2-3 hits each without saying a word to each other & at the exact same time our clothes came off in the wink of an eye & the next 4 hrs were extremely loud &'we both burnt a gang of calories. Anyway I give this strain a 9.5/10 as it took away all my symptoms of bipolar and ADHD. Thank u for reading and srry for all the rambling.

I agree with the previous review after my first experience with PT (.5 cart). Obviously, Sativa dominant, but not at all overwhelming, as the previous review states, producing enjoyable, functioning, and at times giggling experiences. This strain is powerful and should be used by those experienced; but, I’m also thinking that it may be a strain for the first timer to take their first hit of cannabis (1 hit and see what happens in 15 minutes or wait 45 minutes for the edible to kick in). Anyway, I highly recommend Purple Thai.

Big fan. Almost as uplifting as Columbian gold or Brazil Amazonia. The Oaxaca and Thai parentage provide a very classic sativa feel.

back in the day, oaxacan was my fave. sadly, the supply was limited. you would wonder after 2-3 minutes if you were getting high, then a fabulous golden glow would rush up your body, and you would have a very happy smile on your face. oaxacan.
