Red Dragon Marijuana Strain

Sativa Dominant Hybrid Strain Sativa Dominant Hybrid 60% Sativa / 40% Indica

THC: 10% - 20%

Living up to its name, Red Dragon is an exotic Asian flower that crosses Himalayan Kush with Utopian Haze. The sativa genes are dominant in this hybrid, which has a sativa/indica ratio of between 60:40 and 70:30. THC levels, which top 16% in available tests, are high enough to deliver effective medical treatment yet low enough to appeal to first-time patients and occasional smokers. Even so, the side effects from this strain can be powerful, especially the paranoia, so patients with anxiety may want to avoid this strain. Still, it's an excellent tool for relieving depression, inflammation, migraine headaches, mood disorders, nausea, pain, and insomnia. It's a less helpful tool in fighting seizures and other conditions that require CBD, since that chemical is scarce in Red Dragon. The high the strain produces is euphoric and happy yet sleepy and powerfully hungry, making it a good tool for alleviating wasting and eating disorders. The smell is spicy yet sweet and woody, while the flavor is similar. In addition to widely reported paranoia and anxiety, dry mouth, dry eyes, and dizziness are also possible side effects.

Red Dragon is a visual standout, typically characterized by exceptionally dense, tight nuggets that feel substantial in the hand. The "red" in its name often manifests through a heavy coating of vibrant burnt-orange to deep red pistils that wrap around forest-green calyxes. Its most striking feature, however, is the thick, resinous layer of trichomes. At a 30% TAC (Total Active Cannabinoids) level, the buds appear almost frosted or "wet," indicating a high concentration of cannabinoids and essential oils. Aroma and Flavor Profile This is not a subtle strain. The "stinky" profile of Red Dragon is a complex blend of its parentage (typically Brazilian Sativa x Afghani Indica). You can expect: The Scent: A pungent, sweet-yet-sour aroma that fills a room instantly. There are heavy notes of tropical fruit and woody spice, backed by a sharp, skunky undertone. The Taste: On the exhale, the flavor is remarkably distinct. The sweetness of the Brazilian sativa comes forward with hints of guava and papaya, while the Afghani lineage provides a spicy, earthy finish that lingers on the palate.

I should start by saying I have depression/anxiety and am 60yo. My fave ratio is 60/40 Indica Dominant. But really I just like exceptional weed. Every now and then I run into a Sativa that makes me too nervous or edgy, but not often. For me, maybe because I like Sativa's a lot, I will keep trying ones that make me anxious or paranoid at first, because I know that often times those neg vibes will lessen greatly on 3rd and 4th tries..so I will give those strains 4 or 5 tries before I give up on them. The batch I got was over 28% thc and hit me like an anvil. The first time it was not really pleasant, so this may be one I don't continue with. But it's fire. I don't get the reviews saying it's Indica-like. My batch was like full-on effing Sativa slam to the frontal lobe shit.

I was so hyper and ridiculous and didn't care. It was so enjoyable. Like Jim Carrey meets Robin Williams. No paranoia. Not out of control with the energy. Always good to me. Sometimes a feeling of a focused point between my eyebrows.

Easy grow. Good yield. The afghan roots work well on pain. It is a munchy producer, and it's Sativa dominant. Good for the evening.

Good information I enjoyed the strain as I watched and listened to the review

Lovely strain!❤

Grew big dense buds but severely lacks in potency, mild weed flavor without distinct characteristics. looks like what I would picture regs/schwag to be.

First rule of paranoia, never speak of paranoia. Instead smoke a little CBD with it and mix it up. Yet does it treat or cause the anxiety? LOL

I really like the affect of the high, the only down fault is idk if it is laced or what. But after I got it at the dispensary i usually go to, I took a hit and the high creeped up but the down fault on it it was dragging me to the point like my body need a deep nap. What could be the problem? Is it laced or is it the way the high is and different affects with people? Btw I'm a heavy smoker so that can not be like the first time I smoked weed. Can it? Lmao. I'm not a beginner.

Good for people with negative thought patterns.
