It's reputation is well-earned! Generally I usually avoid sativas because of the anxiety/racing thoughts they tend to produce, but given this strain's notoriety, I had to try it once. People's reaction to any of these strains can be different, but all I can write is that after a week I have had no issues with anxiety or anything else negative (save the usual munchies) with AG. Actually, this didn't seem like the kind of sativa I've seen described before; I was too mellow to begin any kind of work project, so perhaps a different sativa is better if you want to work on your car's transmission or something. If you just want a nice and chill late afternoon/evening, this strain is the best I've found to help make that possible.

After a week, I've had no issues with anxiety or anything negative (save the usual munchies)! Everybody's biology is different as far as how they react to any of these strains, but this doesn't seem like the kind of sativa I've heard described; I was too mellow to start any work project, so another sativa might be better if you plan to work on your car's transmission or something. If you just want a chill, late afternoon/evening strain, you'll be hard pressed to do better than AG!

I'm 66 years old (like, WOW! how did that happen!) and turned on in 1970. I remember well the different bits of what we called then, commercial grass, imported not home grown. Of course who doesn't still enjoy the refrain, "No stems, no seeds, Acapulco gold is badass weed" anyhoo, I got seeds from barney's farm and have to say the high took me right back to the highs of my youth. And that was from a crop that I had to finish a week or so early cos of mould, so I'm looking forward to my second attempt with better light, nutrient control etc. Keep on keeping on...

One of my top five favorite Buds I am 60yrs old I remember this back in the 70s came from New York City It was so beautiful to look at it Sparkles like Gold when you rub your finger across the top of the buds the gold dust would be all over your fingers love it 💕great for pain/pleasure -great mood enhancer can’t wait to grow my own Acapulco gold waiting for that right to happen here in New Jersey coming soon 2022

I was very surprised with the chestnut earthy flavor and aroma, gave me light head buzz with a nice relaxing body high, definetly old school strain right there. Though I found the aroma a bit similar to the OG kush and the White Fire OG, a big nice predominent pungent smell with hint of chocolate and chestnut, I was very impressed

Over the decades it is still as popular as ever. One of the best sativas ever.great taste, very energetic.Got a very nice example of outdoor grown, amazing smell and nice tight buds, testing at 20%.Great way to kick off your day.

Acapulco is a classic that hits hard and lasts long. nothing more to say, smoke it and it speaks for itself. 9/10
