When I seen this strain, I couldn't pass up on it. I've heard amazing things about Durban Poison and when I tried it, maannn! Did it live up to it's hype. Originating in Africa, I love the name Durban and poison, as this pretty leaf is not one to play with. It packs such a heavy hit but with such a sweet taste and an aroma of pine. You may try to kiss your lips as you're inhaling. Lol. This super potent strain will leave you energetic, happy and feeling creative. I recommend this to any heavy daytime smoker as of me, I'm an Indica guy. This still fits in my top 10 strains though.
this was one of the worst sativa strains ive ever had. it just doesnt work one bit. at least the flavor was good.

Oh man this could be one of my top 3 favorite strains of all time. I've smoked a lot of herb and the taste of Durban poison is fuckin phenomenal!! The pineness is what I love about cannabis. The high is really uplifting and euphoric!! it's soo strong after the effects wore off I passed the F out.
If you like sativa high as I do....you'll love this strain. Gets your day up and rollin' with a smile. Doesn't get much better than DP.
Very stimulating and energetic without provoking anxiety. Euphoric. Minimal muscle relaxation or appetite stimulation compared to other strains. Good pre-workout strain. People who vape and want to get the full Durban Poison experience need to increase their vape temp to at least 430 degrees F, as THCV has a substantially higher vaporization temperature than THC.
This is the holy grail of strains for those of us who find contraindications with weed; what many/most consider an extremely racy, buzzy, speedy, overhigh strain actuallly is a centering and focusing strain for me and some others. It's like when hyperactive kids get amphetamines to calm them down. Durban Poison takes my normally all-over-the-place brain and lets it calibrate to singular thoughts and tasks. Nice sunshiney brightness, clear and a bit trebly, it accents the high notes. Very few strains are as consistent in their effects as DP, across a range of producers. The THC-V present prevents me from wanting to eat the entire fridge. I get a lot of research done and actually remember all of it! To me, this is the best. The ultimate strain.
