If you like sativa high as I do....you'll love this strain. Gets your day up and rollin' with a smile. Doesn't get much better than DP.

Very stimulating and energetic without provoking anxiety. Euphoric. Minimal muscle relaxation or appetite stimulation compared to other strains. Good pre-workout strain. People who vape and want to get the full Durban Poison experience need to increase their vape temp to at least 430 degrees F, as THCV has a substantially higher vaporization temperature than THC.
This is the holy grail of strains for those of us who find contraindications with weed; what many/most consider an extremely racy, buzzy, speedy, overhigh strain actuallly is a centering and focusing strain for me and some others. It's like when hyperactive kids get amphetamines to calm them down. Durban Poison takes my normally all-over-the-place brain and lets it calibrate to singular thoughts and tasks. Nice sunshiney brightness, clear and a bit trebly, it accents the high notes. Very few strains are as consistent in their effects as DP, across a range of producers. The THC-V present prevents me from wanting to eat the entire fridge. I get a lot of research done and actually remember all of it! To me, this is the best. The ultimate strain.

Aight, so i just smoked a generous bong hit, and...yeah...that's it, my search is over. All that I endure daily, (chronic pain, anxiety, depression, fatigue and then some, is slowly departing, (temporary of course). Energy levels are up, feeling damn good. Time to reinvent myself. Let's ride..
Well this strain replaced Laughing Buddha for me, and its a better fit since it doesn't leave me paranoid or highly sensitive, but no sort of focus with this strain either. Creativity yes, but one good thin is it helps me relax and I can sleep. I'm only vaping this tho....

Truly the "espresso of cannabis"... I had trouble sleeping after using it too close to bedtime, as my mind was wonderfully stimulated. If you need to have a kickass productive day, DB is the holy grail. As a preworkout, it's a great and natural choice. Can't wait to take this strain camping next week!
