Durban Poison Marijuana Strain

Sativa Strain Sativa

THC: 24%, CBD: 1%, CBN: 1%

Expect a major blow to the head from this super-potent strain. A pure sativa, Durban Poison is the beloved inbred descendant of a sativa strain grown in South Africa. Ed Rosenthal, an American cannabis activist, discovered the original strain and brought in back to the United States in the 1970s. It has long been a favorite of stoners and medical marijuana patients here. Durban Poison has THC levels that can reach 24%, making it one of the world's more powerful strains. This strain hits with a strong, happy head high that's great for creativity and daytime errands. Paranoia may be a possible side effect, along with dry mouth. Durban Poison is an effective treatment for depression and anxiety, as well as chronic pain, and it can also be helpful with nausea. This strain is ideal for making concentrates, as the bud is covered in over-sized trichomes. The dominant smell and taste of Durban Poison is earthy and sweet, with a subtle pine aroma. The buds are round and chunky, with a dense coating of trichomes. This strain is best for active periods, chores, and other daylight activities.

very accurate review by allbud...taste is very good but not as tasty like MAC1 & is uplifting, silky buzz...nevertheless, highly recommend, a terrific & true sativa

I read all the reviews and they are all right on point. I enjoyed this strain's nice smooth buzz that leaves you feeling blissful and eased my aches and pains to enable me to get things accomplished. I have not tried the flower yet, but the oil is excellent. For Sativa's this one is a great choice for daytime use.

Probably the best sativa iโ€™ve ever tried! Super smooth, relaxing but not sedative. You get HELLA high and yet completely functional. No paranoia nor anxiety. Itโ€™s great for any time of the day, socializing, cleaning the house, you name itโ€ฆ

One of my favorite sativas. When I smoke it, I feel elated and helps to motivate me. I do a lot of running, and this strain makes it a lot more fun. Good for socializing too!

This is my all-time favorite strain because it is a thought-provoking, cerebral high that, at least when you ingest in small enough doses, allows you to get things done. A very good day-time strain that won't make you slow or confused. Made me friendlier, more talkative and gregarious than I usually am. Also, good to smoke before sex as it does wonders for sexual energy and foreplay.

Tasty bubblegum, earthy, wintergreen and licorice flavors. This high is energetic but not sloppy or manic; it comes on fast, so you'll want to ease into the experience. Great stuff!

Durban Poison is the best Sativa money can buy because the best sativa, Congolese Landrace, isn't available for purchase. However, if you're in IL you need to know that NO Strain labeled Durban Poison is TRUE. Up North....rather Aeriz's Durban Poison is NOT Durban Poison. They are all S1 phenos. Durban Poison is extremely racy strain with no comedown. It's like taking a double shot of expresso after slamming a Bang Energy Drink.

So i already have Epilepsy so i do take that into account. But everytime i smoke anything Durban Poison or anything that has been crossed with Durban Poison i have a seizure or come close. I also know of a few other people that have issues with this strain. So for me it is a low star, but as a Budtender it is one that is asked for a lot and works for many people. My main reason for the review was to let anyone who may have issues to be aware

My fellow females this relieves pms/period cramps, headaches and nausea!!!! Your Welcome! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

If i could only get one strain of weed for the rest of my life, and I could choose any possible past, existing, or yet to be made-up strain, I would choose this strain. Number one, desert island, go-to strain out there for me. Up North does it perfect here in Illinois. Never disappoints.
