My first impression of Banjo was the flavor. The best descriptive I can say is "The smell was pleasant, but the taste was not the best. Very hard to find detailed information about this strain. I couldn't find anything on the internet regarding effects, side effects. If your a newbie this is a pretty strong strain, 1 - 2 hitters for you. For those that have smoked awhile, this is a 2 hitter and wait. Its a creeper. Relaxing, stress reducing, yet I am able to function and get on with my day;
Banjo is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the potent Boost X Tangelo strains. If you're after a super stimulating and full-bodied high to use when you need to kick back and relax but still have things to do, Banjo is made for you. This bud packs a punch of effects that hit both mind and body, lifting the spirits and relaxing your limbs for relief from head to toe. You'll feel the cerebral effects first, shooting through your mind with lightning speed, erasing any negative or racing thoughts and replacing them with a happy tingly lift. Your senses will slowly begin to sharpen, accented by a boost of creativity that makes focusing on artistic tasks a breeze. This tingle will soon work its way throughout your entire body, leaving you feeling physically calm and without a care in the world. In combination with its high 18-28% average THC level, these effects make Banjo a great choice for treating those suffering from conditions such as chronic pain, migraines or headaches, appetite loss or nausea, depression and ADD or ADHD. This bud has a sour citrusy fruity flavor with a lightly sweet creamy cheese exhale. The aroma is very similar, with a skunky cheesy overtone that's accented by hints of pungency. Banjo buds have small flat triangle-shaped bright neon green nugs with thin orange hairs and a frosty thick coating of tiny golden crystal trichomes.
