Honey Bananas is an evenly balanced hybrid (50% indica/50% sativa) strain created through a cross of the rare Strawberry Banana X Honey Boo Boo strains. This rare bud is beloved for its insanely delicious flavor and its relatively mellow effects that are powered by an average THC level of 18-22%. Much like its name suggests, Honey Bananas has a super sweet flavor of tree fruit, bananas, and honey with a sugary candy aftertaste that intensifies upon exhale. The aroma is very fruity, with an earthy pungency that has a super sweet effect that's released as the nugs are broken apart. Honey Bananas has effects that are very well balanced in nature and are ideal for later in the day. The high starts with a euphoric uplifted state that leaves you slightly energized with a mild sense of artistic motivation. As the high builds, it will become very hazy, leaving you sedated and very sleepy with a building case of the munchies. These effects make Honey Bananas the perfect bud for treating conditions such as insomnia, chronic fatigue, mild cases of depression, chronic stress or anxiety, and headaches or migraines. This bud has large and dense bright neon green spade-shaped nugs with light amber hairs and a super sticky coating of sweet syrupy resin.

The smell and taste definitely reminded me of sweet bananas. The buds were light and airy (not dense/hard) and were covered in beautiful orange hairs and sugary goodness. The smoke was rich and thick with only a slight expansion/burning in the lungs. The "high" isn't overwhelming compared to some strains - it is a very peaceful, gentle ride and surprisingly effective for regular pain, nerve pain, insomnia, PTSD, and anxiety. A regular dose will allow you to function and be productive if you choose to, but I find myself checking out the world around me (colors seem brighter and sounds are more interesting). This is a great strain for those who like a nice psychedelic head high, but not the anxiety or racing thoughts found in other strains. I usually take a nap about an hour after smoking a bowl of this - not because I'm too high but just because the effects are so relaxing and the dreams so vivid. The high starts off with a solid headband-type buzz for about 30 minutes which spreads down into the shoulders and lower body for around 3 to 4 hours of combined bliss. My favorite part of this strain is coming down from the peak high - the two-hour effect on that side of the high is so calming and peaceful - just like resting on a cloud. I strongly recommend this strain for both recreational users and medical patients for either daytime or nighttime use.

Medicated me exactly as described above. Really enjoyed the relaxed creative high right after smoking that slowly gave way to a mellow heavy eyelid euphoria that put me to sleep effortlessly. This is hands down my new favorite. THC % feels much higher than listed. Love it.

Have not tried the flower but I just picked up some limited release honey banana shatter from my local collective claimed to be 88.77 % percent t.h.c. man alive what a head high with a couch locking munchie affect towards the end and taste abousoulutly wonderful
