Insane OG, also known as “Insane Kush” or “Insane OG Kush,” is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the infamous OG Kush X Bubba Kush strains. Don't let the name scare you away - Insane OG isn't too crazy to handle. It does, however, have a super high level of potency, hitting about 27% THC, so beware if you're not an experienced patient. That being said, expect a hard-hitting high with this bud, one that hits both mind and body with a high level of strength. You'll feel a lifted and euphoric cerebral high accompanied with a touch of mental energy that gets your thoughts flowing and your mouth moving. A relaxing physical high accompanies this heady lift, leaving you slightly couch-locked but not sedated. Combined with its high potency level, these effects give Insane OG an edge in treating depression, chronic fatigue, migraines or headaches, chronic pain and appetite loss or nausea. This bud has a sweet and fruity grape flavor with a punch of black pepper upon exhale. The aroma is very similar, although earthier and spicier than the taste. Insane OG buds have long lumpy super dense grape-shaped minty green nugs with purple undertones, lots of thin amber hairs and tiny white trichomes.

I bought 1/4 ounce of Insane in early November to use for edibles; it is now late December and when I went to retrieve it noticed that the herb was now dryer than a bone. I thought it was valueless and I was half-tempted to toss it out and use the new fresh and fragrant 1/4 ounce herb that I bought today. But instead of tossing it, I made a quick 8x8 chocolate cake. I'm so glad I gave it a chance because dried out and all it rewarded me with full power performance
