Puna Budder is an evenly balanced hybrid (50% sativa/50% indica) strain created through a cross of the classic Hawaiian X Afghani Landrace strains. This tasty bud is extremely rare, but is sought after for its delicious nutty flavor and coveted well-balanced effects. Puna Budder has a taste that's surprisingly fruity in nature, with a floral blueberry taste that's accented by an earthy spice upon exhale. The aroma is just as sweet, with a spicy blueberry earth smell that is complemented by hints of sweet berry and grape that are released as the nugs are broken apart and smoked. This bud has lumpy and super tight grape-shaped forest green nugs that are spattered with darkly colored amber hairs and a thick sticky coating of syrupy sweet resin. My roommate would trim during short season, he would bring back a couple pounds of his bud when all was said and done. Super sweet, fruity taste, not to harsh on the lungs, great head high, and nice relaxing body buzz. I miss those days, back in the 80’s.
