Sweet Purple Marijuana Strain

Hybrid Strain Hybrid 50% Sativa /50% Indica

THC: 10% - 15%

Sweet Purple is an indica dominant hybrid strain created through a cross of Purple Dutch X Unknown strain. The exact genetics of this bud are unknown due to breeder secrecy, but it is well known that this bud was bred for the purpose of easy outdoor growth. In fact, it won 3rd Place at the High Times' Cannabis Cup in 2004 for Best Outdoor Strain! Sweet Purple buds have dense and fluffy super dark purple or royal blue spade-shaped nugs with dark amber hairs, and sparse thick crystal clear trichomes and visible droplets of sweet sticky resin. This bud has a tasty classic purple aroma and flavor of sweet earthy grape with a strong minty herbal aftertaste upon exhale that can be too much for some users. The Sweet Purple high has characteristically uplifting effects that are a perfect combination of sedative indica effects and clear-headed sativa effects. The high hits you first in the head with a cerebral rush that gives you complete clarity with a feeling of mental relief from any pain or racing thoughts. This head high fades slowly into an insanely relaxing physical body stone that leaves you utterly serene and relaxed with a sense of peace and well-being. The comedown is incredibly sedative and often ends in a deep and peaceful pain-free sleep. These effects and its THC level of 10-15% on average make Sweet Purple perfect for treating chronic pain, mild cases of depression, insomnia, and chronic stress or anxiety.

Sweet Purple – Great Potential, Just Not Top Shelf This Time. Sweet Purple is a strain that clearly has strong potential, even if the batch I received wasn’t true AAAA quality. The aroma still carried those classic sweet, fruity notes with a soft earthy undertone, though it wasn’t as loud or vibrant as I imagine a higher-grade version would be. The flavor was pleasant and slightly grape-like, smooth enough but missing that extra punch you’d expect from premium flower. Despite that, the effects were still very enjoyable. The body high came on steadily, bringing a warm wave of relaxation that helped ease muscle tension and physical discomfort. It wasn’t overwhelming or couch-lock heavy, but it definitely delivered a soothing calm that made it easy to unwind. Stress seemed to melt away gradually, and there was a subtle uplifting mental shift that helped brighten my mood. I found it particularly helpful for taking the edge off anxiety and quieting mental chatter. There was also noticeable relief from minor aches and nausea, making it a solid option for evening use. While the potency felt slightly muted compared to top-shelf strains, the overall experience was still positive and comfortable. Honestly, if this batch had been true AAAA quality, I can imagine Sweet Purple being absolutely incredible — deeper flavor, stronger effects, and even more pronounced uplift. As it stands, it’s a solid four-star experience with clear potential to be something truly special at its best

Best I've had to aoriximate the weed high of the 70s for me. 4 or 5 nice hits. More I get too stoned. Love it.

I am pretty sure I got exactly the strain that Allbud is describing here. Shit you not. This stuff is clearly above the effects of girl scout cookies and beer I am having along.
