Big Mahuna is an extremely rare indica dominant hybrid strain that is said to be a variety of the infamous Big Bud grown on the islands of Hawaii, although no one can be entirely sure of its true origins. Like its name suggests, this bud has insanely oversized but super tight nugs that have a light green tint and are covered with bright red hairs. Each nug is completely frosted from top to bottom in milky clear trichomes and has droplets of resin on each twisty leaf. The flavor of Big Mahuna is like any you'd expect from Hawaii – sweet yet spicy with fruity tropical hints and an earthy aftertaste. The aroma is very woody, with slight hints of tropical fruit and pineapples that can be detected as the nugs are broken apart. Although the flavor is fantastic, the effects of Big Mahuna are what will keep you around.
