GSC Strain

Indica Dominant Hybrid 60% Indica / 40% Sativa

THC: 24%, CBD: 1%

GSC, also known more commonly as “Girl Scout Cookies,” is a slightly indica dominant hybrid strain created by crossing the classic OG Kush X Durban Poison strains. This insanely popular strain is a favorite among users everywhere for its delicious flavor that is actually like a freshly baked kush cookie and myriad of cerebral and physical effects that are just as sweet. The aroma of GSC is much like the taste but with a pungent twist – it smells like sweet kushy earth with a hint of minty nuttiness and a powerful cherry pungency that's released as the nugs are broken apart and burned. The GSC high is very well-balanced even with its slight indica dominance, hitting both mind and body with numbing effects. The high starts with a cerebral lift that boosts your mood with a sense of euphoria and slight introspection. As your mind is lifted, your body will be hit with a buzzing effect that leaves you completely relaxed and slightly couch-locked with a building sense of hunger. These effects paired with its 24% average THC level and 1% average CBD level make GSC ideal for treating conditions such as chronic anxiety or stress, appetite loss, depression, and chronic pain. This bud has dark olive green popcorn-shaped nugs with purple undertones, bright orange hairs, and a thick coating of tiny white crystal trichomes.

GSC is a great daytime strain with its Durban Poison Sativa roots paired with OG and Afghani on the Indica side. It is more clear headed than many strains, and is ideal for allergies and headaches. Like any strain, cultivation is the key, and I would give five-stars if it were always grown in a stellar way on the market. Dime Bag has a great small bud example of this strain that impresses me at only $15/8th locally. I like the indoor/greenhouse examples best. We grew GSC outdoors and found it was wonderful for ease of harvest and lack of pests.

Can't go wrong with Red Sky's GSC vape carts. Red Sky is an up and comer out of Harrah, OK and their test results speak for themselves. Love to relax at the end of a long day with some of this one for sure!

This one of my top ten strains,i got some at the dispensary where i work.coming in a 28.8%thc!(i saw the testing data myself)not much in the way of a strong smell or flavor but it makes up for that in effect!!

Great strain for anxiety/depression, adhd. Very smooth relaxing high that leaves your mind buzzed and your senses enhanced. Ordered GSC from Green Society to try the strain and it is one of my favourites. 5/5 smell, looks, taste, high.

GSC and it's phenotypes have a legendary reputation among cannabis users for a reason. Despite being indica dominant, GSC features an incredible cerebral high that is excellent for treating depression, while offering a comforting body high as well. The effects are felt incredibly quickly, with a classic sativa head rush followed by deep relaxation that pulses in your spine. The buds of this strain can take on an incredible variety of colors, with some being deep, almost neon green, and other featuring almost blue-greens, silver, and yellow coloration. The terpenes are incredible as well, smelling very dank, sweet, and earthy. The smoke is VERY sweet, with an intensely spicy nuttiness accompanied by notes of vanilla and pastries. Dabs of this strain have a powerful vanilla flavor and express deep herby dankness on the exhale. This strain is a must try for all stoners. It combines deep relaxation with a stimulating, euphoric head-space that's perfect for treating different mood disorders as well as simply getting high. GSC more than lives up to it's reputation and is sure to put a smile on your face.

Love it! Took me a while to understand this one. Good for daytime. Two of my favorite strains in one, durban and ogk. Vape oil tastes like big league chew.

Great strain. Right up there with blue dream. Can these medical growers stop putting the oils in the wicked cartridges? Ruins the taste. GSC is known for great taste and effects so why make it taste bad? I like this one for social anxiety. I bet many would agree... after awhile the indica side takes over, if it didnt smack you in the first place. Good for outdoors or inside lounging. Versatile bigtime and it crosses nicely with many strains.

Excellent weed for sure. It feels like it is more heavily weighted toward the Indica side, than "60-40" which for me is a "big plus", as so to speak. This will make you very spacey sleepy and relaxed. Excellent for chronic pain, as there is a fine body high that it brings.

The true Mother Load medical strain in Maryland. Over 30% THC and flies off the shelf. I enjoy this strain as it tastes like Thin Mints to me when I sniff or vape it :D As it is stronger, medical users do not always get the same effects from GSC as they hope from some of the lower THC strains. They now also have a CBD variety for Medical too.

I've now tried 3 different batches of this strain and feel like i can finally give it a decent review. The buds are very dense, dark green in color and popcorn shaped. The smell varies a bit from batch to batch but is generally earthy with distinct chocolatey and sometimes minty notes. It smokes very smoothly without making you cough much at all. The high is fairly balanced between indica and sativa effects. It comes on really strong with an initial cerebral rush within a few minutes after smoking and after 30 to 60 minutes it tends to become a little more mellow without knocking you out. The cerebral come-on can be a bit much for some users so watch your dose-- it's very potent weed! The high lasts for quite a while, which can make it a great value if it happens to float your boat. It's not my personal favorite as my main issue is insomnia--which is better quelled by indicas. Nonetheless, I know a couple of other people who really love this strain. Frankly it deserves a good review as it is an exceptional, highly distinctive strain well-loved throughout the cannabis world.
