Jager

Indica Dominant Hybrid 80% Indica / 20% Sativa

THC: 23%

Jager, also known more simply as “Jgr” to most of the cannabis community, is an indica dominant hybrid (80% indica/20% sativa) strain named for the infamous adult beverage that has mixed accounts of its origins. Many believe that it is a Hindu Kush descendant due to its effects and smell, but many others argue that it must be a descendant of the Southern Oregon strain because of its appearance. Regardless of its genetics, Jager is one delicious and effective smoke, with THC levels reaching up to 23%. Much like the real Jager, this bud has an aroma of sweet earthy licorice and a taste of woody lemon pine with a hint of rich licorice upon exhale that becomes intensely sweet at times. These buds have long tapered pepper-shaped forest green nugs with deep rich purple undertones, fiery orange hairs, and a thinly spread layer of fine clear crystal trichomes. This high is characterized by full-bodied indica effects that slowly creep on before hitting you like too many drinks. You’ll suddenly feel completely relaxed in both mind and body with tendencies towards introspection and becoming spacey. You won’t be completely sedated in this state – rather, just blissfully out of it. Due to these effects, Jager is often used to treat chronic pain, inflammation, tremors, and muscle spasms.

Jager is in Tennessee all the time & always good !! Sober Otis lives §§§

FYI. The name has nothing to do with the drink. Jager is Purple Hindu Kush renamed by the collective growers in Cave Junction, Oregon. 7 years ago nobody was buying Purple Hindu Kush because of the over-supply (alternate market days) so they renamed it after their favorite drink while in their favorite CJ bar.

I had the opportunity to get an 8th of this strain in Arkansas recently at $30. The best i have had for my conditions, immediate pain relief no anxiety, very relaxing.

This strain is the perfect strain for anxiety.

Just into my 1st ever batch of Jager. Great stuff up there with the best of buds. What surprised me is that it's supposed to be indicta but the buds are darker and very dense very unlike the usual Idica's i.e.: Snow White, the various Kush buds, etc..

This is one of my top 5 strains. You'll see that often on this site. Difference is that I have tried hundreds of different strains and this one truly stands out for a couple of reasons. I've bought this bud 4 times and each time the smell and flavor was consistent which only matter is it good right! Well this is not good, it's great!! Jager is what it sounds like. First it always has a real dark appearance many times with purple hews. Second the smell. Oh man it's crazy good. it smells like dank black licorice. The same flavor comes through in the taste as well. I never get less than a zip and it never last as long as I'd hope. This is an excellent strain that I'm adding to my next grow list.

Absolutely my favorite for a first timer... I’ve been smoking for a couple months now and jager is my favorite nice relaxing effect very chill I don’t do well with the head high at all puts me into severe panic attack but this indica does not do this.. I started smoking since I hurt all the time I have degenerated bone and disk disease and have arthritis this Jager takes the brunt of the pain away. I’m on pain meds but they don’t come anywhere close to relieving pain like the Jager does.. I like the aroma of the woody scent it’s not a harsh stink like some. I definitely recommend this for beginners!

I have only tried this strain a couple of times but I love the taste and relaxing high. I personally think there's some Blue Dream genetics since when broken up it has a similar texture and fluffiness to it. Anyway great for relaxing and relieving stress.

Incredibly relaxing. Great smell!! If you really don't have anything you have to get done, get in a comfortable position, have a little bowl, and chill out for a couple of hours. You won't regret it!

gr8 bud super dank and goes along way..... .
