Northern Lights Marijuana Strain

Indica Strain Indica

THC: 16% - 21%

Few strains come with as much widespread renown as Northern Lights, inarguably one of the most popular strains of all time. An inbred descendant of original Afghani landrace strains, Northern Lights is a pure indica. THC levels can reach 16-21%, making this one of the most potent strains available on any market. A couple hits is all it takes for most patient's seeking this strain's powerful body effects, an upbeat mix of euphoria and physical relaxation. CBD levels are less clear, but they certainly aren't high enough to recommend this as a treatment for seizures or other conditions that respond to CBD. Even so, Northern Lights is a highly useful medical strain, effective at treating anxiety, pain, and insomnia, as well as lack of appetite. Cottonmouth is common, as are red eyes, while other negative effects are much more limited. This strain has a sweet, earthy flavor with hints of citrus. Northern Lights is most popular on the West Coast and in Colorado, but it's a favorite pretty much everywhere else marijuana can be found.

Got some really tight nuggets from a friend, certainly a sweet and woody/pine aroma, Taste's not that good or smooth but i can overlook that. 1 hit from a bong and couple minutes later i certainly feel stoned, such relaxing effect you just wanna sit back and enjoy.. Took a second hit and now i'm where i want, ate a good late dinner with a little ice cream dessert. Also suggested by someone else i did a stretching session while watching one of my fav shows. Dancing to music which sounds better than normally... :) Then went to bed and got 8 hours of good sleep, rarely i can even sleep this well when there's always noisy neighbors and thin walls!!.. Now wake'n'bakin need to test some more, it puts my mind on ease.. But let me tell you: Even i didn't have to smoke too much to get both my body and mind glued into my seat, so take it easy :)

I need to let people know my experience with Northern lights flower buds, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2013. That was til 2016 a friend told me that it worked on bladder cancer. So he showed me how to make the oil. After oil is made I put 2 rice size amounts of the oil into a capsule and fill the rest with coconut oil. Put top back on capsule and now you have medicine. Since taking the oil I have not had any tumors growing. Northern lights is the only one I know that works. I tried gorilla glue once and within a year my tumors started growing again. Got back on Northern lights and been fine ever since. More people need to know this!! I used 190 proof everclear to cook it. There are no side effects and doesn't make you high.

This is my daily. I can always add some type of Sativa later but I’m a wired up person so I like running smooth now that I have crossed 62. There’s not much you can say about this original except it’s a perfect indica. Cheers from the Vacation boy

The name caught my eye so I started reading the reviews, etc…I’m 54, born, raised and still reside in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Back in the late 80’s, Northern Lights was the predominant strain going around in these parts. I can remember paying $40 for a 1/4 oz. when most smoke was $25 a 1/4 oz. and I was only making $3 hourly bagging groceries at the local Piggly Wiggly! My point is the stuff was the truth!! I’m hopeful that this is truly Northern Lights of old! If it is, I’m trying to grab all I can!

If you are mentally stressed, physically beat up or have a high strung type personality, definitely consider Northern Lights. Turn some music on (or you favorite sitcom), lay on the floor and just start stretching and breathing. Your body will melt and all your aches and pains will fade away. The cool part about doing that? Lingering benefits for days because you will have stretched so thoroughly even if you completely suck at stretching. And it's all because Northern Lights completely relaxes your ass.

Northern Lights is, in my opinion, quite overrated. Don't expect anything too special here, the high is very mellow and chill, which I guess some may prefer, but for someone who enjoys indulging in strains absolutely laden with THC, this strain is admittedly underwhelming. I find that I have to take a ton of hits to really get a satisfying high. Once I do manage to achieve the zenith of the high, it's fairly unremarkable, just a rather pleasant mellowness.
