Cheese, as it's also known, is perhaps the most famous marijuana strain to emerge from the British Isles. It is still more popular in the UK than anywhere else, although its fame has spread to many other parts of the world. English farmers created this strain by inbreeding Skunk #1, a sativa-dominant hybrid. UK Cheese itself is indica-dominant, with a sativa/indica ratio of 20:80, but the effects are balanced, delivering both a head and body high. It's a potent strain, with THC levels topping out at about 20%, and it's known to hit fast and hard. The effects are intensely euphoric, with an upbeat, happy mood, some laziness, and a dose of creativity. Best used to treat pain and stress, UK Cheese is also an effective way to alleviate insomnia and depression. CBD levels are low, less than 1%, so this isn't a good choice for patients with seizures or other disorders that respond to CBD. Cottonmouth and dry eyes are common side effects, and paranoia, headaches, and dizziness are also reported. Fittingly, this strain smells and tastes like cheese, with a pungent earthy aroma.

This appears to be the only strain available in the UK , particularly the area where I live . It is a nice clean , sharp & clear high . I feel chilled & relaxed after smoking this strain & if I've had a stressful time & I have a few bowls of this I feel much better after & impotence is one of the worst symptoms of my stress & after a couple of blasts of cheese I'm soon back up again & even better , I have the Libido of a teenager again & I'm in my mid 30's . I get the giggles after consuming the cheese strain . My only negative thing about this strain is the taste when smoking it I always need a can of pop & some mints to wash away the taste as I find it really harsh. The only other strain I've had was Lemonade which gave a similar high but tasted a lot more pleasant & was a more subtle hit on the back of the throat. I would love to get my hands on some other strains because I know there are well over 100 strains but I Am more than happy with this cheese strain for now.

This strain is great for pain, also like it says; depression and anxiety also, plus it came from skunk #1 so enough said.

I didn't like the taste for UK cheese

Medreleaf Cognitiva aka UK Cheese. I find this strain harsh to smoke similar to the Sedeman from Medreleaf, however its sold at a great price at 6.50 gram so I thought that I would try it, gives i nice little intense high and helps with my PTSD.

for a 6.50 a gram its very good and smell good,and frosty,itsa 5 star forthlook ,smell,and the high,veryrlax and goodfor pain

I had a A+ batch of this stain from Southern California and let me tell you this is one of my favorite statins!! The buds are dence and super triced out!! The smell is cheesy with a fruityness!! The taste is identical to the smell!! This herb made me very creative and feeling euphoric!! Perfect for video games also!! Get it if it looks and smells amazing!!
