this is a wildflower tasting. piney, oak’er smoke to me. sativa @ 22.81%. i feel it bringing my racing thoughts to halt. a few pax3 sessions later and i’m feeling pretty, pretty, pretty good! maybe it’s my specific strain, but i’m enjoying a outdoorsish, smokey, straight herbal taste. pleasant, without being overbearingly “weed like”. this reminds me of the 90’s style of herbals i used to buy.. if i was lucky. it’s a great smoke. (warning; i live in a legal state. I smoke A LOT of marijuana. i hope this helped. the close up photo of the bud is from my recent purchase).
Sativa Dominant Hybrid - 70% Sativa / 30% Indica
THC: 16% - 18%Great Northern is a rare sativa dominant hybrid strain with unknown parentage due to a high level of breeder secrecy about its background. Grown in Northern California, this bud is beloved by growers and patients alike for its sturdy structure and full-bodied effects. Great Northern buds have super sticky and dense minty green grape-shaped nugs that are totally covered with bright orange hairs and frosty golden amber crystal trichomes. As you pull apart each sparkling nugget, aromas of spicy herbs and sharp sour citrus are released, all wrapped up with a pleasant earthy woody overtone. The flavor is very similar, with a sour lemon taste that’s accented by pine and sweet herbs. The Great Northern high is definitely a classic sativa, with energizing effects that will get you up and moving before you finally settle down into deep relaxation and ease. It starts in the head with a boost of the spirits, filling your mind with a sense of cerebral euphoria and creative energy that really helps get you moving on your to-do list and helps inspire conversation with those around you. With these long-lasting effects and its moderately high 16-18% average THC level, Great Northern is said to be perfect for treating conditions such as appetite loss or nausea, depression, chronic stress and chronic pain.
