Hong Kong Diesel, also known as simply "Hong Kong" to some users, is an extremely potent even hybrid (40% indica/60% sativa) strain created by breeders at the Walking Raven farms, Denver's first official medical marijuana dispensary applicant back in 2009. This strain is a cross between the hugely popular Sour Diesel X Hong Kong strains, and boasts an THC level ranging from 18-24% on average. This dank bud has won 1st Place at the Hemp Connoisseur Championships twice for Best Hybrid Strain and People's Choice Hybrid Strain. Users describe the effects of Hong Kong Diesel as an immediate onset of a head high, in the temples and behind the eyes, that slowly fades into an uplifting cerebral head high and a mellow, relaxing body buzz and couch lock. Because of these potent effects, Hong Kong Diesel is an ideal strain to treat patients suffering from conditions such as chronic pain, appetite loss, depression, and mood disorders, including mood swings. This bud has a pungent citrusy diesel smell that is reminiscent of its Sour Diesel parentage and a sweet tangy berry taste with a skunky exhale. Hong Kong Diesel nugs are neon green, furry, and covered with amber hairs and a layer of crystal trichomes and sticky resin.

I've been cultivating HKD for the last 10+ years. A friend scored a seed that came out of a bud back in 2010 from Walking Raven. It's one of the strongest, high-yielding genetics we've been successfully cultivating for the last decade. It reminds people of Super Skunk and is extremely potent.

Hkd the flame Definitely. The super not to be confused with Kong an average or lower variety with similar name.
