Holy smokes! I love this strain alot and it gives you this creative juice in the morning. It makes you feel happy and want to do some exercise or work, generally it makes you active and ready to take on the day! Thanks for the amazing flower buds!

Sour Diesel has been described as an invigorating strain that is great for being creative. The mighty Sour D has been said to have uplifting and energetic properties. Euphoria is also one of the effects listed. Where does Sour Diesel stand when it comes to its effects? For being such a well known strain, it falls short of delivering a Top Shelf experience. When I think of being creative it usually involves some form of inspiration and excitement. It lacks the enthusiasm and excitement that I need in order to be creative. Don't get me wrong. 4 hits off a swisher and I'm ready to get things done, but It's not like I'm jumping for joy. A smile here and there, and that's not good enough for me. Top Shelf? This is and has been my favorite strain for years on end. Even though it's a sativa, the effects do NOT give you anxiety. I actually named my snake, Diesel. As in Sour Diesel. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a go. Good stuff, man.

I Agree with @Gumps5pac with their comment about just getting spun in the head. I love the strain. I love vaping and doing something where I don't need my brain such as an outdoor activity (no sharp objects or tools of course), working out/gym, long drive, etc. I have no idea how people get creative or introspective on this shit. I smoke other shit like certain hazes or Dr. Grinspoon etc. Again, I love it, but only for times I can kinda check out mentally.

I gave a 5 Star even though the Sour Diesel has one negativity for me: It's name. It should be called: Paradise I didn't like the name so I finally had one joint and it's not like the others, it's better than all the rest.

It's strong weed it smells amazing the high is good for creativity and clear head as well. I had a batch that literally made me fall asleep. Idk what was different about that Sour Diesel but it got me really stoned and sleepy.

It's perfect in the way that it offers a great uplifting sativa high without the heavy tiredness of indica yet also doesn't make my mind race with overly anxious or sometimes as some describe paranoid thoughts. Very enjoyable.

Absolute classic, and I completely understand why. This strain is amazing for me, i love the taste and the high is honestly one-of-a kind. It's got that gassy, diesel smell and taste with a hint of something fruity. People say lemon. I personally don't really get a lemon flavor like say a lemon haze would give me, but it's definitely a fruity flavor and smell all mixed with the diesel. I love it lol. And the high, for me anyway, is completely euphoric as well as relaxing and just so laid-back. I have a permanent smile on my face every time I smoke this strain, and I always kind of sit back for a second and say, "damn I'm high". It helps so much with the depression I fight with randomly whenever it feels like messing with me, and it gives me an appetite too. I recommend this to anyone looking for a strain to sit and relax and help boost your mood and appetite. I give this a 10 out of 10 for real, in every category.

I’ve been smoking sour diesel for years. I’m from the Bronx and we’ve been getting that Sour D since the strain probably was created. Aka “Loud” in NYC because whether you were on the train or the bus, if someone had some sour in their pocket, the smell was so “loud” hence the reason for the street name. Me and my boys would go to the bodega and there was always the Puerto Rican store owner who would be selling the loud under the counter.. anyway we would smoke that bodega loud and get absolutely STUCK on my couch playing madden or COD or some shit. Sour D has never failed me or any other New Yorker who has been smoking this for years. Sour Diesel was definitely NYC’s favorite strain at one time if not still probably the 🐐

I was lucky enough to run into a little of this Super Strain, Sour Diesel from my Disp.. It doesn't let you down and is very serious smoke. I love it. The buds are quite dense and smallish. I give this 90% Sativa a full five stars.

I got few sour diesel before, it wasn't well cured, and well grown at all, but it still had that diesel aroma, combined with sweet and grass, the effect was a bit light though but still very pleasent somehow. But one day, I bought like 5g of it, I saw the big bud in the bag I told myself that this time, it's not shitty weed. When I opened the bag, I took a deep smell, and damn that was dank, like very unpleasant smell, it had nothing to do with the previous ones I bought, Although I could still smell some sweet in there, and the basic strong skunk aroma, with something else I cannot describe. I thought I was ripped off and they put something in here, until I start to grind the bud, it grinded so well, even left keef, but still with that strong ass aroma. When I smoked, damn it was like drinking some sweet diesel lmao, After few puffs I knew this wasn't shitty weed, the uplifiting, stimulating high is very strong, I had high tolerance that day ( still have ) and it hit me like if I hit the joint for the first time.

Even though I usually prefer even-hybrids and indica dominant hybrids, I could not help but love Sour Diesel. The cerebral high was intense with some euphoria, as well as a happy, uplifting feeling. Great strain!

My all time favorite strain! Excellent for creativity, detail work, gets you going for a long time. Energetic, sharp mind, the best ever sativa for me. Unfortunately, 2 times out of 3 what is sold as S.D. is not very good... When you have the real thing it smells, and tastes great and it is a sativa type fluffy bud. The compact nug that is not smelling a lot is not a good phenotype and does not have any qualities.... the real S.D. tastes like lime with diesel overtones, a very good aroma and the effects are the best for a sativa lover. I smoked a lot of sativas and Sour D. is something like no other in the quality of the effects.

Believe the hype on this one, Sour Diesel really is one of the best tasting and best overall strains ever. It is really unfortunate that Natural State Medicinals doesn't grow this strain here in AR, both Bold and Osage cultivate it but they are terrible at their chosen businesses of growing cannabis. Even with all the leaves and poor cure job I give it 5 Stars.

Oh my Sour Diesel... We've been through so much together; housed, homeless, outdoor living/woods, employed, and even when unemployed. For me, Sour Diesel has just really been a strong consistent strain that is always able to give me that spark of creativity or rush of energy when I need it most. Another good thing about this strain, is that I seem to be able to find it no matter what state I travel to, which says allot to me. Also, I mostly use a vaporizer, and Sour Diesel nugs have crazy output when vaporized. It's like, while I'm vaping, I start wondering, where the heck is all of this vapor coming from, and it just keeps on putting out :-) lol! There are really only a couple of things that disturb me about Sour Diesel, and they are, the amount of choke that S.D. vapor has in it to me. It just seems that no matter how little a draw I take, with S.D. I'm always coughing. The other thing is it's other phenotypes/evil twins. During my travels, I've come across some true Sour Diesel phenotypes that hint at the S.D. that I'm used to, but that don't effect me at all like it; these evil phenotypes tend to overwhelm me with strong Indica like effects.

Definitely a fantastic wake and bake. For me this smoke falls near the top, with Green Crack, Jack Herer, and strawberry cough. Can’t go wrong, happy, and definitely a “up buzz”. Enjoy my friends. 😎🍭🌱

Sour Diesel is a classic sativa dominant strain, it used to be a 5 out of 5 strain but has been surpassed by newer even more potent sativa dominant strains. The taste is just as the name, it has a strong gassy diesel taste combined with hunts of lemon. It’s the gassiest tasting flower I’ve had besides kerosene which Sour Diesel is a parent to (kerosene is my new favorite sativa dominant flower). The effects of Sour Diesel are all sativa mind effects, every time I smoked it I felt happy and energetic, it’s a great day time and social strain. It's a great sativa for getting things done. If you like skunky, gassy weed then this is for you. Super strong. Would only toke this in the a.m. or when an all-nighter is called for. So-so for pain, but great for energy and beating down depression.

The smell is atrociously strong - and noticeable, but it’s delicious, most closely compared to tangie, which smells almost so fruity that it veers towards sickly sweet and fermented. I’ve had different effects from this strain depending on where I’ve procured it- sometimes it’s a very very strong rush of a sativa and hits you like a truck, other times I’ve noticed it more mellow with a slightly lower THC content. Definitely a classic sativa. I prefer it when crossed with more subtle strains personally but it is a classic for a reason. It’s damn good.

Hits like a rocket. First 30 mins, head rush and medium body relaxation. Next 2-3 hours highly energized and uplifted; covered with a happy blanket. Great sativa.

Sour D is very good strain for smoking at day, especially morning, high is similar to Thai Stick strain. No anxiety or paranoia, very relieving stress level and makes you better mood. Increasing creativity. For sure I'll smoke this for a long time. I guess there's a reason for it's long lived popularity. It's really good, but there are better strains of sativa out there. Right off the top of my head, I would say that GG2 gets you a LOT higher, and Mimosa is a far better quality buzz. But I certainly would not thumb my nose at the Diesel.

The vape of this is better, imo, than the flower. Vape was very strong high, no anxiety, no paranoia, spacey fun. Flower was underpowered compared to the vape; got the vape and flower from 2 different dispensaries - am wondering if that is the issue or that this strain is just stronger as a vape?....

Out in Hawaii we have only med pot. My first foray into med pot, but have been a smoker since 1968. This sample was tested at 19% THCA. Pretty smooth to smoke from a pipe. Three hits set me up just fine. My arthritis is dulled, my mood is happy but I've gotta control the insane muchies I get. I feel relaxed but can focus and as long as I'm not reclining on my bed watching TV I don't have a problem with lethargy. Once I do fall asleep it is solid and I wake up feeling fresh

Anything with CBD and CBN can calm a manic episode and relax the bipolar / PTSD person. Additionally anything to cure this awful fatigue from the Lyme is very helpful indeed, and it may help to prevent seizures. note: Also do not mix with alcohol if you have a seizure disorder. j/k do what you want, lol.

As a sufferer of anxiety/panic attacks, it's vital that I find and use strains which don't leave me paranoid. GG #4 is great, but overdoing it can be unnerving. Now, Sour Diesel is my favorite strain (At least so far). I rolled a thin joint, took about 5 puffs, and 15 minutes later, the buzz came on. My body relaxed, my head felt light, and the fear or paranoia melted away. I tend to clench my jaw....this strain relieved it. My shoulders and neck tend to be tight....this strain relieved it. The bud is very pungent, but I kind of like the strong scent. The weed was a bit sticky, but it was east to grind. This strain will be my new "go to" when nerves or tension start messing with me. Since you're not left sleepy, I would recommend meditation after use.

It makes me want to work in my shop for about 30 minutes, then restless and foggy headed (it doesn’t end up being very productave). I don’t find this strain very useful. It doesn’t relax me enough to sit still enough to get any creativity, and the energy it gives is restless and short lived. Lol I swear, every time someone makes a cross with this strain, it comes out weaker than either of its “parents.”

One of my least favorite strains. Lol it seems like every time someone makes a cross with this strain it ends up 1/2 as strong as either of its “parents.” This strain made me energized to work in the shop for about 30 min, then it just gets restless and foggy headed. It isn’t relaxing enough to sit still enough to get any mental benefits. I end up wasting time on this strain; I don’t find it to be a very useful strain at all. The bud structure was good though light and fluffy.

Although this strain challenged my lungs from the first toke, within just four or five hits I enjoyed one of the best marijuana experiences I've had this year. I was pain free and quite happy - and for a good, long while. This was very tasty, too. Lots of lemonene. Yum. This isn't a social strain, for me. It made me extremely introspective and although my mood was greatly improved by toking, in company I probably would be too lost in thought to be any fun to be around.

I hadn't smoked this strain prior to 5 months ago. When I took my first bong hit of this I couldn't believe how blown out I was. There are only a few strains that get me that high and all of them are new to me. With THCa as high as 29% it's no wonder I was cleaning my apartment for an hour after hitting Sour D. I smoked Colombian back in the day and this is a premium buzz like that. Even if you smoke all day every day Sour Diesel will still get you ripped. This strain has no ceiling.

I found this to be a fairly short lived high. I agree with Gumps 5pac below. Lemon Jack is a GREAT up and cerebral high, This MD grown Sour Diesel I had offered very little buds with minimal crystals on the buds. Not great at all.

It’s been a while since I had Sour D. The last time I smoked it was so long ago that I had no idea what was Indica and what was Sativa. Back to the recent. After using it for a wake n bake the last couple of days I can see the popularity. The look is plain as weed goes, the smell is pugnent and the flavor is easy. The buzz is flat out energy and focus. Great way to jump start the day. It’s comparable to other solid Sativa strains like Jake Herer and Durban Poison. Only drawback for me is that it makes me wanna eat. A lot. Oh so Hungry. Durban Poison is actually a hunger suppressant. If you want to eat then this will be a great strain for you!!!🤪

Not the very best in the world but I appreciate the good head high and the energy that follows.. Great for exercising. Yoga never felt so good. Not the best happy high but great for stress and depression. Smooth going down.. I found it to taste an odd sweet flavor.

I'll smoke it if that's what's around, but it's not my favorite strain. I pride myself on being able to consume mass quantities so I don't think the high THC level is to blame, but this strain makes me nauseous. Not nauseous enough to make me puke, but enough to notice and make me choose something else.

One of my least favorite strains. I can tell it’s going for a stimulating effect, but I find lemon strains much better at that it’s more lasting. My main problem with this strain is the high from the vape lasts less than 30 minuites just gets me spun in the head and motivated to work in the shop rather than listen to my thoughts and pay attention to tv/movies, but it isn’t lasting enough to be productive at anything. The avb cookies were worthless. I liked how light and fluffy it was and I bet there are a few good crosses with it as a component, but personaly after trying it I felt it had a lot left to prove. It’s such a common strain eventually all the newbies have to try it.

Sour d relives my PTSD stress and depression all around good heavy high

It's very powerful and gave me a nice up high effect. With a THC content of 24.4% it did the job. I have several conditions that led me to register for medical cannabis It relieved me of tension, I could eat after using it and I didn't regret buying it. I usually pick a Sativa or Sativa dominant hybrid. I love an up high cerebral effect. Indica's tend to put me to sleep. Compared to the "black market" weed I bought in the past it's high quality, very effective, lasts a long time and had no negative effects. If you find this strain it's worth trying to see if it works for you. I must say this is going to be one of my top choices.

I’m just going to say this strain helped remove my pain. It’s consistent in strength and relief. Not harsh and really it’s pretty tasty. For the money, ($45 per 1/8th) you can’t go wrong!

The Sour Diesel that I may or may not have had was of a higher quality than the pot I have gotten before. When you stop feeling your arms and legs is where you should stop. Wish it where legal in Texas.

The thing about sour diesel, for me, is that it has an incredibly cerebral, dreamy kind of head high. But after a few days of smoking it heavily, the strain loses it's cerebral kick. Of course this is not the fault of the strain. The simple fact is that you can't just smoke one strain and expect it to work every time. Brain chemistry just doesn't work that way.

Sour D is what everyone who smokes wouldn't say anything bad about but I just don't like chasing blunt after blunt I love2smoke but not like that....

This one was by far one of the bests. I have lupus and MS I usually have little energy this was great, it allowed me to function on a level that I had previously. Thank you, there have been many things in my home that were neglected due to extreme fatigue. This type gave the energy to conquer.

You can never go wrong with Sour Diesel. I'm always happy to have this in my arsenal of meds. Great for focus and energy, with calming effects needed for those with issues. Love the diesel and that dank, dark smell...mmmm.mmmm

i ahve anxiety disorders. i have to take adrenaline blockers and anxiety meds twice a day each. i would not recommend this if you feel anxious at all that day. causes me to pace, heart flutters, almost pass out. its not always like this as iv been using it for about 3 weeks but 1 out of 4 times i have an episode. again id recommend this to normal everyday smokers but not to people who have anxiety disorders.

The smell is strong pine-chemical that near burns the nostril. Taste is sharp pine/pepper that burns sweet. Instant Head rush, half way through the burn, that increases as the joint decreases. Body feels energized and light. Focus is strong, get lost in thought, reading or even a bike ride. This and cheese are ones that help with my arthritic pain. Recommend for chronic users or if you are some one that is an occasional toner but want a strong high.

Whoa! My first time as a medicinal user I tried SD in a vape pen. I didn't know how long to draw on the pen so I took too much and man, totally effed up my throat. I coughed for like 10 minutes. When the coughing stopped I felt the high coming on. About 10 minutes later I was totally buzzed. It dropped my blood pressure so I grayed out whenever I stood up. Be careful if you're taking BP meds. I got a nice cerebral high from SD. I was still able to cook dinner (although I did almost put instant mashed potato flakes into the gravy I had just made).

Tasted like lemon/lime Energetic high. Using medical vape. Potent.

I just did a dab of Sour Diesal, and although the thc percentage was on the lower side for a wax (56%), this sour diesal did not disappoint in any way. Feeling calm but focused. Low back pain is almost not there. Tension headache has dissipated. Great strain.

There is too many variations. If you get the real deal, it's a 5+star strain. But, if you're unlucky enough to get duped into getting a weak variant, you end up with a stringy, lanky bush with light-weight bunk smoke.

This strain will blow your mind. There is not one thing about this strain that I don't like. It smells so pungent and it's effects are so strong. This is what a sativa is all about. It's hard to find a high quite like Sour D's. I will forever love this strain.

Its a 5 when you get the real thing but sadly some shops are not selling the real thing. I suggest buying 1 g before you spend a lot of $$ on a fake. My recent purchase in Denver (after I looked in several shops) was stellar. It is very potent, perhaps more so than its numbers indicate. It can induce a trance like state in many, including me and while trying to watch TV I'll miss several minutes and have to back up the DVR. I love the way the high unfolds. Some high potency strains leave me with a bit of a headache in the latter stages but not real Sour D. This and Ghost Train Haze are my favorites.

While I can usually count on this strain, I was not happy with the pre rolls. Low budget meant I purchased a four pack, and I got what I paid for. It tasted like stale cigarettes, no more form this grower for me.

Been indulging for over 45 years & this is still one of my favorite strains. It is a great high for doing just about anything during the day and early evening. Not for sleeping in my experience. Good taste, buds, color & feel. Highly recommend & always grab if available .

You get a sour diesel fuel funky smelling herb with a strong head high aka heady or headies. everything is from the upper body to the head. uplift with energy. wish it had a lower body and spacey ness to it.

Good strain, nice buzz, just not what I look for in a flower. Still great though!

This was the first strain that really helped with my IBS. It has a distinct pungent fuel smell, that I hunt for in other strains. The buds are light in color and usually have a lot of visible pistals.
