Senator Yee Blocks PTSD Study  – Rally for Veterans on 4/2 in Phoenix!

It’s another sad day in Arizona — finally a medical marijuana study for PTSD is approved by the Federal government yet one Senator is preventing it from moving forward. Senator Kimberly Yee heads the Senate Education committee “simply refused to put the bill on her committee’s agenda before the March 20th deadline.”

Veterans, medical marijuana supporters, and people wanting more research are gathering at the Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza tomorrow, Wednesday,  April 2nd, from 5-7p.

“This bill will help a lot of people. Not just combat veterans, but people with chronic illness and pain who can’t find relief anywhere else. Whether you are for recreational use or against it, we should at least know what marijuana does. It’s research – that’s all we are trying to do,” said the bill’s sponsor, State Representative Ethan Orr.”
