The Funk is an indica dominant hybrid strain bred by the one and only Granddaddy Purple as a cross between the powerful Tahoe OG X Ken's OG. Even with these powerhouse parents, The Funk packs a relatively mellow high that won't overwhelm you even if you're new to the medical marijuana scene. The high has a slightly uplifted onset that boosts your mood and leaves you feeling happy and at ease. As this effect builds, you'll start to feel more and more relaxed, falling into a state of laziness that won't leave you couch-locked but will still make it hard to get going and moving. You'll be surprisingly creative and talkative in this state, although you won't really be able to get much of anything done. With its 16-19% average THC level, The Funk is perfect for treating migraines and headaches, Multiple Sclerosis, insomnia, and chronic stress. This bud has a sweet fruity grape flavor accented by spicy kush and pungent earth with an incredibly smooth exhale. The aroma is super spicy and pungent with a musky deep berry undertone. Okay but,... The nuggs I got were jam packed with hidden seeds. I'm talking an outrages amount of seed packed tightly inside of EVERY nugg, big or small. Although, you'd never be able to tell from just looking at the outside but just crack one of those babies open and you can watch or hear them all fall out. As a matter of fact, I've kept all the seed from the 1/2 oz. of FUNK I just bought and plan to take them back to my dispensary so I can get it weighted cuz I'm hella-curious to know just how much I paid for all this seed. I was really rather surprised because I've yet to see any dispensary weed with more than a seed or two. So imagine my shock at literally pulling approx. 700 hundred seeds from a 1/2 oz. ( I counted). Just curious to know if anybody else noticed this in their FUNK...

Love this strain! No anxiety or paranoia...just mellows you out and gently puts you to sleep.

Wow! This is definitely a mood booster, (which I love), has great medicinal properties, for, ALL of the four conditions I have. My conditions, are being ”PAID” back! Pain?...feeling numb and have tingles instead. Anxiety?...disappeared completely. Insomnia?...haven’t gotten there yet? But so relaxing,..I feel like it will help. Depression?...definitely in a great mood! No more thinking about, life’s problems. If I had to sum it up in two words, it would be....Ohhhh Yeah!

I have a condition called vkh. It replicates other disease symptoms....this strain helped with my nerves, headaches,sleeping and idk about a berry taste or smell but very low on the loud smell and rather mellow chill. Won’t let me post pictures.
