I could tell I was stoned, but I also had a splitting headache right after smoking this strain. It was not a pleasant experience.
Indica Dominant Hybrid -90% Indica / 10% Sativa
THC: 18% - 21%Grape Ape is a mostly indica crossbreed of Mendocino Purps, Skunk, and original Afghani. It shares their potency, with THC levels as high as 18-21%, which makes it a relatively strong – but not overpowering – tool for treating disease. As its name suggests, Grape Ape tastes and smells like sweet grapes, with a subtle berry flavor. Like its Purple ancestors, this strain develops a deep purple bud and leaves to go with its grape-like qualities. It's most useful in treating chronic pain, including migraines and arthritis, though it also helps relieve anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The high is profoundly relaxing, a full-body experience that can lead to strong couch-lock and deep sleep. This is definitely a nighttime strain, as it can have a near-comatose effect. But the high can also be euphoric and focused, with a clear mind. Dry mouth is common, as are red eyes. Most easily found on the West Coast, in Colorado, and in Michigan, this popular strain can also be purchased across the country, on both legal and black markets. It's a relatively easy strain to grow.

This was the strain in the very first edibles I had ever purchased. Not only is it incredibly relaxing, it has a strange, almost sativa-like quality to it as it causes powerful mental euphoria as well. This strain is a wonderful medicine but will please the average stoner as well with it's relaxing and giggly high. True to it's name, grape ape has a powerful grape aroma to it. Think grape juice when you smoke this strain, as even the smoke from bud is very tasty. Concentrates of this strain are very flavorful and in THC cartridges, it's easy to mistake this grape flavor for artificial flavoring. However, you can rest assured that this is the natural flavor of the terpenes of this wonderful bud. Overall this strain is wonderful both for it's medical effects and it's recreational value. The high is uplifting and giddy, but also very calming. Be prepared for an onslaught of laughter after over-indulging in this strain, and be sure to keep snacks stocked as this strain can cause intense munchies. This strain is very characteristic of indica genetics, being dense and purple with extreme calming effects.
I'm sure it helps some its a great smoke but for me the next day i wanna punch a hole through someone's head could just be my PTSD I'm not sure so just 3 stars from me
Grape Ape lives up to it"s name, smells like Concord grapes, great high, great taste, uplifting and long lasting, exceptional strain and price
Relaxing, laid back high. Feeling withdrawn and sinking into the couch. Amnesiac effect. Good sleep as long as you don't stuff yourself first which is definitely a possibility.
I;m an Indica lover and this strain is great , it's perfect for indica lovers.
Vaped some oil, it even helped with WD...and it tastes like grape jelly. For lovers of indica, a must try.
Very nice strain. It rolls up on you calmly, and delivers the goods in spades. A nice, mellow buzz that melted away my nervousness and anxiety. I still had plenty of energy to handle my tasks. Good bud.
I'd usually steer clear of purple strains because they give me nasty headaches but grape ape was an exception when taken in small dose. Perfect muscle relaxant during post workout. Smells AMAZING!
