Medellin is an indica dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the delicious Wedding Cake X Chemdog strains. Named for the region in Colombia in which it's grown, Medellin offers an amazing high and long-lasting effects that will have you feeling like you're on a tropical vacation. The high starts with a warming, tingly feeling that begins in the spine before stretching forward throughout your entire body. You'll feel stimulated and slightly aroused with a light boost of energy that will quickly ebb and fade away. This energy will soon be replaced with a sense of deep relaxation that has you feeling totally kicked back and sleepy, ready to doze off with a long and peaceful nap. Smell was mild, like a sweeter version of GMO but not overpowering. Good flavor, maybe a bit of funky sweetness. Good mix of two favorites that provided a top notch buzz, mostly cerebral. You can go if you need, or chill if you want..either way it works well. Taste is one of the smoothest I've ever experienced. Not harsh at all on big pulls...everytime and throat was golden. It was a beautiful brown/yellow tint, like Acapulco Gold. Both strains pair well together and provide a nice easy buzz that works for me in any situation. IMO
