Merlot OG is an indica dominant hybrid strain created through a four-way cross of (Larry OG X Grape Ape) X (Blackberry Rhino X SFV OG). This bud has a flavor that's exactly like the name – rich musky merlot! The smell is rather skunky and pungent with a rich berry to it that's both spicy and sweet at the same time. As each oversized dense olive green purplish nug is broken apart, these scents become infused with an almost buttery effect that quickly becomes sour and woody. The Merlot OG high starts almost immediately with your first exhale with a happy tingly euphoria that boosts your mood and your spirits without causing an increase in energy or anxiety. This effect quickly becomes relaxing, mellowing out into a slight haze that leaves you happy and completely at ease. Super night strain...very relaxing and happy high. I use it medicinally for chronic pain, nausea, depression, and anxiety and it's awesome. Great for insomnia as this is one of my go to strains nightly. Very potent though...definitely don't drive while using this. 😋
