Strawberry Cake, also known as “The Strawberry Cake,” is an indica dominant hybrid strain (75% indica/25% sativa) created through crossing the delicious Chronic X White Widow X Cheese strains. When it comes to the flavor of Strawberry Cake, the name says it all. This bud has a super sweet and creamy doughy strawberry cake taste with hints of sugary berries upon exhale. The aroma is very similar, although it has been said to be more like a strawberry cheesecake than a standard cake. The Strawberry Cake high is just as mouthwatering as the taste, with classic indica effects that will please the pickiest of patients. The high has a cerebral build at the onset, slowly filling your mind with a sense of happiness that activates the senses. This is probably the strongest strain I’ve picked up in a while, the high is very cerebral and takes a little while to settle in. I smoked it with regular papers and failed to pick up any of the berry notes described in the profile, though it hit amazingly with strawberry enhanced cones which helped pull out the berry/cake flavors. It does seem to help with both chronic pain and PTSD, as it definitely can help offset some of the symptoms of both. Definitely a strain I’ll look for again.

This is a great tasting flower with an even greater profile effect. Although this is labeled as an Indica dominant strain, it brings out Sativa-like effects with its focus, clarity, uplifting, and just a general sense of euphoria all wrapped up in a mind & body high. It addresses many issues medically and very satisfying when done for recreation. This is a favorite of mine.

Cheesy strawberry goodness that leaves that lingering sour taste on the tongue that leaves you smiling for hours. Relaxing but not an end to the day. More like an after- lunch -mellow- my -stress smoke before getting back to work. Uplifting yet soothing.
