Ghost Train Haze Marijuana Strain

Sativa Dominant Hybrid Strain Sativa Dominant Hybrid 80% Sativa / 20% Indica

THC: 27%

Ghost Train Haze is one of the most intense strains that has ever been introduced to the marijuana universe. This strain is not for the novice Toker; after all, Ghost Train Haze was named the "Most Potent Strain on earth" by High Times magazine in 2012. This strain derives from Ghost OG & Neville's wreck, creating an insane 27% THC level. GTH is mainly sativa (80:20 sativa/indica ratio), so if you are a novice smoker or suffer from anxiety, it is best that you steer clear of this wicked strain. Heavy smoking of GTH can lead to an almost psychedelic feel that may induce paranoia. The patients who tend to opt for Ghost Train Haze are those who suffer from depression or those who are looking for an overall great time. If taken in small doses, GTH can easily send you into laughing fits and stimulate your creative mind. The aroma of this strain is a sweet blend of sour, citrus & pine that is very pungent. With an abundance of trichomes and hairs, GTH basically looks as dank as it claims to be.

Ghost Train Haze gave me two completely different experiences. The very first time I tried it, it made me feel a bit shaky and on edge. The energy was so strong that it almost felt overwhelming. Because of that first impression, I wasn’t sure if it would ever become a strain I truly enjoyed. But yesterday changed everything. This time the experience was much smoother and honestly amazing. The high came in fast with a strong wave of energy and mental clarity. Instead of feeling shaky, I felt focused, uplifted and very happy. It completely melted away my pain, helped with my migraine and took a lot of my stress away. It’s the kind of strain that makes your mind feel awake and creative while your body feels lighter. The flavor is also very pleasant, with a sharp mix of citrus, pine and a slightly sour sweetness. It’s a very pungent strain with a classic haze character. Ghost Train Haze is definitely powerful, so it’s not something to underestimate. But when the dose is right, it can be an incredible experience. For me, it turned from a strain I was unsure about into one I’m genuinely excited to smoke again.

Expected more from this strain, the high was more akin to a mellow sort of relaxation. Didn't feel like a sativa at all. Okay for dealing with anxiety strangely enough, but the high was definitely unremarkable. Smell and taste were very piney with a dash of citrus. Overall mediocre.

Ghost Train Haze... Easily in top 10 Sativa strain of all time imo. Gets rid of my bad moods, depression, anxiety, shoulder pain, & pretty much changes my whole vibe up. Smooth smoke, kicks in fast. Doesnt take but a couple bong rips & im nice. Excellent choice for Rec & med. Got an Oz. If you see this strain... Try it. I highly Recommend this strain.

POV: I suffer from widespread joint and muscle pain as well as neuropathic pain from various autoimmune disorders. After trying a lot of different kinds of strains, sativas and sativa-heavy hybrids are my favorites. Except when I want to sleep at night. I'm still working that out. Anyways, I agree with what I've read about GhostTrain Haze: even with my high tolerance, all it takes is one or two puffs, and I'm done. My symptoms are diminished, as is my desire for more. For me, it's the dizziness and the feeling that I'd end up in a state of anxiety or panic that prevents me from pushing the envelope. In the end, if my favorite dispensaries had both Ghost Train Haze and Trainwreck, I will choose Trainwreck, every time. Why? Because I don't like to have my head messed with to the degree that GTH goes to. Edit: (7/18) well, I'm no longer as sensitive to the cerebral effects, or maybe it's the recent state of agitated depression that's made the difference. I'm liking this a lot more! Increased from 4 to 5 stars

GTH is the perfect wake and bake strain. I like to smoke a bowl of this before taking the dogs for a walk.

Contrary to expectations, this stuff sent me right to sleep. It was, on the other hand, the best sleep of my life, 10/10

This one gets you straight zoinked. Intense focus, euphoria, concentration, and heart pump. New comers beware, it can almost be like a psychedelic trip if you have a low tolerance. Definitely one of strongest sativas out there.
