Maui Wowie, also known as Maui Waui, is a sativa dominant strain, which is mostly found and grown in the Hawaiian Islands. The buds of the strain are covered by wonderful crystals which make it look quite tempting for patients and cannabis users. As for the smell, you will note a hint of pine along with citrus and lavender. Furthermore, the strain tastes like fresh hash. The strain offers a high-end euphoria along with pineapple flavors that allow your mind to drift away to creative spaces. Its affects are all you will ever need to get outside and remain active throughout the day which is why it is an excellent day and morning smoke. The high is quite different, as it will leave your body buzzing and in an excellent mood. Moreover, you will also note an increase in focus and concentration without feeling strange or uncomfortable which is the case with other cannabis strains. Wonderful taste which is a powerful sour/citrusy and sweet fruity kick. Very calming and focused head high with a warm and euphoric body high. Great for getting some work done or for light socializing. Very much something for the morning/early afternoon rather than night, but that isn’t to say that small amount before bed can’t be nice. One star off for the head high sometimes being overwhelming while trying to relax.

Surprised to see that 80% sativa count..To me, smokes more like a 50/50 hybrid Really nice tasting and the head is focused and not at all 80% sativa-like, Still a lovely daytime break, or breaks..Preferring sativas, I don't see this as close to a Ghost Train or Acapulco Hence, loss of 1 star.

My experience was as follows: The taste was great, I didn't choke, I put it out after 3 hits of the Rove Ice half gram infused pre-rolls. The feeling is relaxed but alert. I am not new to this game so I like to do the three hit test and see if it creeps. We have a winner. I will probably light it back up again because I like the taste. It took away my OCD anxiety about what is next and that is great. I give this one a thumbs up.

Probably one of the rare strains that you can immediately realize this is good stuff. For me it helps me with problem-solving at work and life in general. Instant mellowness but awake and aware in a sincere way. Good for socialization in general. Creativity boost and music enhancing qualities for sure. Not ideal for sleep.
