Alpha Blue, also more commonly known as “Dream Diesel” or simply “DD” to the cannabis community, is a heavily sativa dominant hybrid (90% sativa/10% indica) strain that is a potent cross between the insanely popular Blue Dream X NYC Diesel strains. This dank bud placed 2nd at the High Times' Cannabis Cup for Best Sativa in 2011 at both the Denver and San Francisco competitions and boasts a moderate THC level that ranges from 12-15% on average. Users describe the Alpha Blue high as having an immediate euphoric and energetic uplifting effect that leaves them happy and sociable with tendencies towards becoming uncontrollably giggly at times. Following this initial cerebral sativa high, users will experience a relaxing calm that spreads throughout the body without making them feel sleepy or sedated. Due to these potent effects, Alpha Blue is said to be an ideal strain for treating patients suffering from conditions such as chronic stress, mild cases of depression, anxiety, insomnia, and appetite loss. This bud has a distinct aroma of sweet earthy haze and a delicious taste of earthy sweet blueberry with a hint of pungent haze upon exhale. Alpha Blue buds have large dense bright neon green spade-shaped nugs with a thick layer of dark olive green leaves and patches of light minty green. These nugs are spattered with rich amber hairs and are frosty with white glistening trichomes.

Super powerful and spacey Sativa.Been seeing it often in the last couple years here in Oregon. Very underrated strain. If you are into meditation and/or spirituality, this strain complements them well.I get a lot of visions and "Downloads" meditating on this strain, similar to mushrooms or other psychedelics. Been a west coast smoker almost 20 years and this is in my top 5 fav strains for sure now.

This is a 2 puff freaking miracle! I swear on all things good. Between my husband and I, I won't give you the A-Z list of injuries, disorders an diseases, but we are addicted to this shit. You take two puffs and you can feel it from your hair to toes, and you are HAPPY.., you feel HAPPY. Daytime HAPPY, nitetime HAPPY. You will not go wrong, it should be a staple at all dispensaries so it's available 24-7!

This is perhaps my favorite strain. A jolt that's not speedy and an almost overwhelming but adventurous cerebral-experience will almost immediately be felt. I am not a novice smoker and I've been smoking more than half my life. This is strong. One can argue it's a little bit psychedelic even. Bring this ganja back. Smoke this. Yes, smoke it.

Taste is alright, mostly skunk with RAWs in my observation. Gets a very good body high and with enough of it, extremely creative with almost a light psychedelic effect too.
