Hybrid Strain Hybrid 50% Sativa /50% Indica

THC: 1%, CBD: 8%

Dieseltonic is an evenly balanced hybrid (50% sativa/50% indica) strain created through a cross of the insanely popular NYC Diesel X Cannatonic strains. This powerful bud is infamous for its incredibly rare 1:1 THC to CBD ratio, which typically falls at about the 7-8% mark for both on average. In addition to this rare ratio, Dieselltonic is loved for its sickly sweet berry diesel chemical flavor that is surprisingly fruity yet still very harsh on the tongue. The aroma is of super strong citrus diesel with a heavy pungency that sits in the room after you smoke. This bud has oversized lumpy Christmas tree-shaped light minty green nugs with rich amber hairs and a thick frosty coating of tiny white crystal trichomes and droplets of sweet sticky resin. The Dieseltonic high is a very happy and relaxed experience with incredibly well balanced effects. It starts with an uplifted head high that hits you almost immediately after toking, leaving you euphoric with a sense of sharp focus and slight motivation. You'll feel a small hint of energy as the high builds, that's quickly counter-balanced by a relaxing body buzz that leaves you lazy and just a little bit lethargic. These relatively mellow effects and its high CBD level make Dieseltonic perfect for treating conditions such as chronic pain, inflammation, muscle spasms or tremors, mild cases of depression, and chronic stress.

Picked up this strain while I was on a road trip up north (Near Algonquin Park). I was a bit skeptical at first as the smell wasn't too appealing for me. Super diesel like with the usual earthy weed smell. I picked a piece off one of the buds and picked it apart by hand as I had forgot my grinder at home. It was super sticky! Like holy smokes. I was not expecting it to be that resinous. I can imagine it would make good hash. Anyway, I put the "grounds" into my Pax 3 at the heat setting 3. I took a couple good draws and can say it was quite harsh on the lungs. Didn't cough but had certainly had that discomfort where you feel you need to cough. The taste wasn't the greatest. Herbally with that Diesel aftertaste... not for me. The effects were interesting. It was listed at 15% CBD & Only 0.7% THC but I certainly felt high. Definitely leaned more on the Indica side. Felt very sedated and a little dizzy. Had waves of alertness and focus but overall was quite lazy and spacey. Overall, it's a decent strain and I will probably purchase it again but I know there are better CBD strains out there.

Absolutely love this strain. I suffer from chronic pain, one hit of a blunt and the pain disappeared. The high is something. A lot better then highs with normal CBD levels. Completely relaxing and the head high leaves you feel like you are in the clouds. Can't wait to get this again.

Yet another disappointing child of Cannatonic. Cannatonic is my hands down favorite of any strain, high CBD or high THC, and I'm always stoked to try any of its children. This one didn't live up to the hype and was mediocre at best. Although it had some pain relief, it wasn't enough for my taste. I'll stick to the original.
