The Sauce Strain

Sativa Dominant Hybrid 60% Sativa / 40% Indica

THC: 15% - 16%

The Sauce is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid (60% sativa/40% indica) strain created through a cross of the powerful Green Ribbon Backcross X Gorilla Glue #4 strains. This infamous bud placed 1st for the Judge's Choice at the 2015 Dope Cup in Seattle, Washington and has a high that's said to be like getting tipsy off the sauce. The high hits you first with a relaxing tingly effect felt in the head that leaves you uplifted and giddy with talkative social tendencies and an overpowering giggliness. You'll be active and motivated to get moving and talk to as many people as possible. The comedown is slightly sedative but not too sleepy – it'll leave you couch-locked and relaxed but still functional if need be. Because of these effects and its moderate 15-16% THC level, The Sauce is said to be perfect for treating conditions such as insomnia, chronic pain, mild to moderate cases of depression, and chronic stress or anxiety. The Sauce has an aroma of chocolately lime with a hint of skunky diesel as the nugs are broken apart. The taste is like chocolate covered lime with a diesel aftertaste that intensifies upon exhale. This bud has long narrow pepper-shaped forest green nugs with fiery orange hairs, lime green undertones, and a frosty coating of clear crystal trichomes.

3.3 So this is comming from Shango. My sample had very nice bag appeal, seemed fresh and cured right. I could tell this one had way more green ribbon in it than GG4, though the gg4 still made its presence apparent in a few vauge ways. I wasnt expecting much out of this strain to be honest until I got my eyes on it, comming in @ 21.50%thc and a very odd terp profile lol 10.1omg of myrcene and a pinch of linalool @ 0.24 and thats about it other than trace terps they didnt show. I was also impressed with how well this was cured unlike some other strains at shango(tbh only orange cookies-other than that shango usually cures very well) nice thick smoke, made me laugh which is rare. If it looks good and the terps are decent id give this one a shot for sure. Varitey is the spice of life after all isnt it?

This is a great "couples" smoke. It has a calming effect, which allows me to listen to my husband same old stories with interest. Smells nice with a short lasting after taste.

Enjoyed this, seemed more sativa, got a great cerebral high + very relaxed, was easy to do homework on this, brought out the creative and pushed down the anxiety of writing that paper.

Great High!! One of the Best.
