I'm 68, and this was one of our favorite "treat" weeds, along with Thai Stick and Mowie Wowie, back when I was a senior in high school in 1971. We just called it "Lumbo". It did taste like hash, and turned your eyes totally red within 10 minutes, too. With Lumbo, it was all about sensory enhancement. Music, food, and sex were just...better! Now that I'm old, I use weed to relieve abdominal and some low back pain issues. I sure would jump at the chance to savor some Red Columbian again!

I haven’t seen this strain since the early to mid 70’s. Back then it was the first readily available primo weed. You could get red or gold Columbian. I preferred the red because it tasted like red Lebanese hash. Great dope, and a killer buzz. I don’t really recall it having a psychedelic effect, just a good long lasting strong stone. If I could find this again, I literally would not smoke any other strain again. My all time favorite pot.
