Original Haze Marijuana Strain

Sativa Strain Sativa

THC: 10% - 20%

Original Haze is a 100% pure sativa strain bred as a wide variety of different sativas, including Mexican, Columbian, Thai, and South Indian varieties. The result is a powerful and well-balanced sativa strain packed full of THC (10-20% on average) and sweet hazy flavors. Original Haze has a classic sweet and spicy haze flavor with a sour tang on each exhale. The aroma is very spicy and herbal with an earthy haze overtone accented by touches of sour citrus. The high comes on with a slowly building effect that finds its home behind your eyes with a lifted slightly energized effect. This sense of cerebral energy grows insanely fast after this slow build, launching you into a euphoric state that can become psychedelic at times. Because of this heavy cerebral state, it should be avoided if you suffer from anxiety or paranoia. These happy almost frantic effects give Original Haze an edge in treating conditions such as chronic pain, migraines or headaches, glaucoma, and nausea. Original Haze has long piecey bright neon green nugs with beautiful amber hairs and a super thick frosty blanket of bright white crystal trichomes.

Haze is my favorite. It always delivers. Doesn't look like anything to the unknowing eye... kind of like an anorexic fashion model, as opposed to the voluptuous and stacked buds of something like an OG or Chem... but the effect is unmatched. It's everything a seasoned smoker can want in one sleek and airy package. Blast off into space, paranoia inducing, sit down before you fall down, mind candy. The problem is how many "hazes" are out there, and how much they differ. I personally believe the true original was only Colombian, or Colombian x Mexican, then the European breeders added the Thai and Indian later on. The Indian is almost certain to have come in during the Mr. Nice era, and I've really only seen the Thai expressions in Euro-Haze. Nevil probably added it, or his MM strain, (which was probably heavily Thai or Cambodian in its makeup), after getting the two males from Skunkman, which would explain the variation from American Hazes. (I don't buy the story that Nevil only had 3 plants out of hundreds of seeds, and chose to kill the only female... that's ridiculous.) American Hazes seem to lean more Frankies, whereas Dutch Hazes are much more Lime smelling, and have spikeyer bud shape. Metal Haze is something else entirely. More akin to Big Sur Holy.
