Temple Flo Marijuana Strain

Sativa Dominant Hybrid Strain Sativa Dominant Hybrid 60% Sativa / 40% Indica

THC: 15% - 18%

Temple Flo, not to be confused with the like-named “Flo,” is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid strain (60% sativa/40% indica) created through crossing the infamous Purple Thai X Afghani strains. This bud is best known for its super lifting and laughter-filled high that will have you giggling the afternoon and evening away with friends and strangers alike. The Temple Flo high starts with a lifted effect that fills your mind and body with a lighthearted energy. A slightly arousing tingle comes next, embracing your entire body with its giddy effects and leaving you feeling totally relaxed without causing too much sedation. The giggles come next, smashing into your brain and leaving you laughing the day or night away with friends and strangers alike. Thanks to these effects and its high 15-18% average THC level, Temple Flo is often chosen to treat those suffering from conditions such as chronic fatigue, depression, chronic stress, mood swings and nausea. This bud has a super fruity and spicy wine-like anise flavor with a sour exhale. The aroma takes a citrusy turn, with hints of deep spicy wine and rich sour lemons throughout. Temple Flo buds have oversized pear-shaped bright neon green nugs with deep purple undertones, dark leaves, rich amber hairs and a coating of purple-tinted crystal trichomes.

Made from DJ Short's "Floral Line," Temple Flo is a remake of the original 1995 "Flo" by DJ Short Jr. (aka the new DJ Short). It was a collaboration between them, but the result is the preservation of this wonderful Sativa hybrid. DJ Short's still out there doing things, he just passed the blunt to his son. DJ Short's Blueberry has the same parents, so Flo is likely a phenotype that leaned more towards the Purple Thai genetics, because this is definitely a Thai strain with its trippy, happy effects that are grounded by the Afghani parent. But yeah, Flo is the same strain essentially, while Temple Flo is a bit of a backcross that also involves an F3 plant, so 3 generations of crossing Purple Thai and Afghani (from my understanding). Probably to make the physical qualities of the original Flo stronger. It seems the filial generation could be even larger in some cuts, but the seedfinder page for DJ Short's cut suggests F3. Either way, DON'T MISS THIS IF YOU SEE IT! Spectacular, I could have 10 pounds and it wouldn't get old.
