How to Roll a Shatter Joint

How to Roll a Shatter Log: A Shatter Log is one small joint rolled up in shatter which is then rolled up into a bigger joint with even more weed. This roll is definitely not for beginners and it requires a lot of product;for our tutorial, we used 7 grams of flower and2 grams of shatter. If you have the product, skill, and patience, this is well worth it - watch until the end of the video to see us smoke it!
Step 1: Get Ingredients
-
7 grams of flower
-
2 grams of shatter
-
King Sized Papers
-
Cardboard filters
-
Knife (or something similar)
Step 2: Roll a straight joint with two grams of flower
By straight joint, we mean a joint that is evenly packed on both ends. As long as you don't roll a cone, you should be good. Push the weed in on each end of the joint (using a small object to poke the weed will help) and twist off the ends. Now, firmly press the weed in the joint all over until it is one solid mass. The weed should be able to hold this shape when the joint is unwrapped.
Step 3: Remove the weed from the joint
Using your knife, cut off the ends of the joint and slice it open. Take the weed out. If you pressed the weed down firmly, it should hold its shape.
Step 4: Wrap the flower in shatter
Lay the mass of weed from Step 3 on one end of the shatter and roll it up. If your flower is too gooey to roll, toss it in the fridge for 30 seconds. If it is too rigid and breaks, leave it in a warm spot for a bit. This isn't easy if it's your first time, just be patient. Here's a tip: if your shatter came on parchment paper, use the paper to roll up the joint. Store your wrap in a cool place so the shatter doesn't melt.
Step 5: Make a bed for the shatter wrap
Grind up the other 5 grams of flower. Combine 3 king sized joint papers horizontally to create one giant paper. To do this, layer one half of on joint paper onto one half of another, lick to seal. Now, take a third paper and layer half of it onto the other half of the second paper, lick to seal. Essentially, you are bridging two joint papers together with a third paper.
